Who is your personal city cult hero? Someone who didn't necessarily pull up any trees, but you enjoyed watching and they stuck in your mind since.

For me its probably Lameiras. Really enjoyed watching him.

John Gayle - him turning out for a top flight club always gave me the encouragement that I could make it in the game

I know someone who was at blues with him.
They sometimes had to give him separate routines to do away from the main training drills due to his inability to do the basics.

Incredible how he made a career from it.

I can vividly remember the Cov Tel headline “Gayle blows in”. Hmmmm, more of a gentle breeze.

Moussa probably scored the greatest range of Coventry goals of any player in our history.

This doesn't even include the goal away at Preston with his weak foot...

Any time there's a thread like this people always list answers that are the total opposite of what's being asked :ROFLMAO:

Did not pull up any trees folks, DID NOT!!

We've currently got someone considered one of our greatest ever players and an FA Cup winner for fucks sake 🤣
