I would say someone is more likely to be obsessive when they resurrect an old account with the specific intention of attacking the main moderator and anyone you associate with him.

Grendull walks a fine line on racism in much the same way as Ferage, doesn’t specifically say anything racist but suggests enough to light the touch paper. Let’s face it, the overtly racist poster swoon over him, he’s like the racists sweetheart, Dame Vera one too many gins. Wouldn’t even say if something overtly racist posted was racist because he didn’t know if it met the legal definition of racism for instance. What a crock of shit, he’s a grown man, allegedly, old enough to know the difference between racism and not racism. When racist are lining up to like and put laughing emojis against your posts while putting turd emojis against the posts of someone like NW it’s probably time to sit down and have a long hard think about your values.

Good suggestion. Will have a look into thatI do think that something needs to be done about how personal things can get on here sometimes. A lot of threads get derailed ok both sides of the forum by petty personal arguments (not saying that I myself are exempt from that in anyway either!) and it is definitely making this place a less enjoyable forum to be a part of.
Other forums I’ve posted on have handed out short term bans for repeat infractions, is that not something that could be done here? I don’t really want to see longer term bans handed out to posters on here but maybe 3 day, 1 week, 2 weeks bans etc. might help discourage some of the behaviour we’ve been seeing on here recently?

As a Protestant of Northern Irish heritage I can confirm that is a racial slur. The don’t believe that for one moment that he doesn’t understand that having seen him use it as the context is always done to insult.Aye, he also thinks it's okay to call someone like SB a "taig" as he told me when ADM started using that offensive and racist slur that he doesn't see that as offensive.

It seems fair game to share racist videos from openly racist Twitter accounts these days. Other posters have been banned for less.
In amongst all this I would just respectfully highlight this post as what I personally see as the biggest issue- whatever about bickering, I don’t think any racist stuff should be allowed, there should be some kind of line which nobody can cross, no matter what side of things you’re on.
Can I add that there has been a lot of discussion and passions running high on SBT over the last 7-10 days. I have made it a bit of a mission to call out racism etc. and have zero tolerance. There has been quite a lot of that from certain posters some blatant some quite subtle /disguised. If I have referred to anyone of displaying strong RW views or racist tendencies when that is blatantly not the case then I would deeply apologise wholeheartedly. I will 100% fact check before I ever do that again.
I actually do like the spectrum of sometimes edgy opinions on here where based on evidence and fact rather than misinformation... thereby lies the problem and why people get a bit frustrated at times. I will reset my mindset and try and be a bit more chilled on anything that's not extreme.

No, it was GIMOCYeah I echo this. I think sharing a video from a racist twitter account or something similar shouldn’t be allowed as anyone can click on the content without knowing and immediately see images and posts which are horrific.
I can’t remember who did this in the original thread, pretty sure it was a generally decent poster that did it by accident - was more just their intention to show the video.
