I remember that, and also Perry suckling becoming keeper after Bobby Gould dropped Raddy Avramovic after we lost 3-2 at home to Stoke and he punched a cross into the net!

Raddy Avramovic is still managing and made a good living out of football. I remember him letting one in from the opposing keeper

New Years Day 1997 - local radio asked people to come and help shovel snow off the pitch.
Nice chat with Peter Reid (then Sunderland manager)

I was there, I think it was Steve Sherwood the Watford keeper who beat him!

Wasn’t it very windy and lashing down with rain iirc. I had a feeling he got sacked after that game.

It was Steve Sherwood and it was windy as fuck , which didn't help poor Raddy as it bounced over his head.
Sherwood apologised to him after the match in goalkeepers union kind of way. Easy to do when you win I guess.

He got sent off there twice? The one I’m thinking of was just before Christmas.

Being at the 0-0 draw at Barnet in League Two. Picked out by Clive Eakin as our low point when he left CWR. A terrible game.

FGR did the double over us that season. I remember when we played them at home they didn’t even open the away end instead giving them a few seats in one corner.

If you can name the three Bournemouth players we had on loan from them the year they signed Callum Wilson off us for pennies

Few years ago my lad and i went to see Solihull when we weren't playing. McQuoid was playing for the opposition. Can't remember who, and he was poor at that level too.

I think he ended up at Luton after us. Awful player.

And Luton loaned him to Torquay and he was rubbish there to. Still playing at Wimborne Town apparently.

If you bought a hot pork pie from shed in away end at Chester (1985 league cup). Seemed strange at the time but was a good experience I never forgot. Much better than Delia's at Norwich.

The legend Che Bunce…..and are still gutted he never actually played a game for us.

You definitely deserve one if you ever saw a stating line up with Andre Wright and Dan Agyei in it. Horrendous footballers, especially Wright.

Oh and that bizarre deal with the chap who wasn’t even that good but everyone got excited about - McCann maybe - who was signed for 6 months until the MLS season started. As if he was ever going to put the effort in with us.

And his dad going on all the facebook forums saying he would take the league by storm as he had spent a few months training with Gerrard and Ashley Cole at LA Galaxy only for him to be blowing out of his arse 10 mins into his debut

It was so surreal having drinks in a lovely country pub before the game. Just felt so not like an away day.

The hill was such a killer too.

Have always hated Eddie Howe for that... Not his fault mind you, very astute of him to palm us off with absolute dog shit and underpay for a future England international.

Just can't believe the club was so naive to accept complete dross in replacement. BTW yes, I know we were skint etc. but FFS.

I bet the staff at Bournemouth thought all their Xmas and birthdays had come at once getting those 3 fuckers off the books in one go and getting a quality striker in.

Really consider it as a low point for us, even now.

HR on a Tuesday night. Pissing it down on the uncovered east terrace seats. Half time the terrace was evacuated and we all ran for cover in the rest of the ground

If you remember everybody's name who was at Shef Wed away on a Monday evening (Live on Sky) in December 1995 when we took the lead 3 times (Dion hattrick) but still lost 4-3.
I'll start you off - Adge.

I remember the players coming over to us after the final whistle and offering one to one personal counselling.
