The 1-0 loss at the McCain stadium circa 1992ish.

I remember traveling back from a cup game at Gillingham back in the early 90's. Midweek, evening kick off. Can't even remember the outcome! All I remember of that night was that there were four of us (fairly big blokes), traveling all the way back to Coventry, in a Fiat Punto! Squashed up for hours, getting lost trying to find the M25, and all bursting for a piss! (I wasn't driving, by the way!). Unforgettable!

That the draw? Then got knocked out by them at home in replay... that was a great night!

Newport away in the rain, no roof last minute equaliser from Max Biamou. Oh and for good measure Luke Berry scoring a hat trick against us in a 4-1 defeat at Cambridge

IIRC Berry scored all 4 and we didn’t score. I also remember singing to Venus he was getting sacked in the morning. Unfortunately he lasted a few weeks more.

I went to an MLS game and was amazed to see Ivan Guerrero on the teamsheet. He absolutely ran that game. Also on the pitch that day was FM legend Freddy Adu. Fair to say he definitely did NOT run the game.

2-0 up and drew 2-2, wasn't the replay Strachan's 1st game as manager?

If you remember the rebound off Joe Murphy from McSheffrey's shot at fucking freezing Scunthorpe
If you remember getting soaked at Swindon and losing 2 goals in the last 6 mins
If you remember singing 'how shit must you be, the Arsenal scored 6'. at White Hart Lane

If you remember opening game of the season against Yeovil Town and 2000 sky blue Balloons being blown back over the stand and into the car park. Didnt have the desired effect as the team came out as I would have hoped for!

( got a good discount though at the party shop)

If you were at the turgid last PL home game v Bradford. Finished 0-0 and were involved with replying to the Bradford fans chants of "goin' down, goin' down, goin' down!" with "So are we, so are we, so are we!"

Did you continue queuing and give you name and number in case of returns?

I did, and got one.
