First "home" game of the season and I should have been proudly wearing my new replica shirt bought for me by my sons for Fathers Day.... No shirts then!

Didn't go to the Ricoh because I rashly assumed our games would be on a Saturday and made plans for Sunday. So because I will not renew my Sky Blues Player subscription (NOPM remember) and I live way outside the CWR limits, I was left searching the match day thread here and the BBC website. No live commentary then.

I can't pretend it wasn't good as the result came through but it is tainted by sheer anger at what Timmy, Joy (how ironic) and the rest have done to my club.

I won't go to Sixfields, so my first game will be Shrewsbury.... Nearly a month after the season starts, so at the moment, no live football then.

Some would say it's barely alive at the moment anyway.

Have to confess, I greeted yesterday's result with just as much delight as I would have done a similar result this time last year. The only difference being that I wasn't there to see it.

In another thread they reckon you can subscribe to the equivalent player for another club and that gives you access to Sky Blue Player without funding the club.

"Yesterday" really got to me...

It got to me to, although McCartney has written better songs!

well said Cranfield. Pretty much sums up what a disaster this all is. Saturday's ruined!

I too found myself a little lost.......... & angry. NOPM, unfortunately is the only answer, however hard to take.

I am also pround of the Team yesterday. Well done. Apologies that the majority of us CANNOT be there. We will be here long after you have left & we MUST stand firm.

KLP!

The future is shite. Coventry will have to start a new club. In there being any new club there may be a tide of optimism amongst the younger generations but we also have the spectre of the people over 70 deciding to stay at home on matchdays.

We've fell so low so quickly, that is what has shocked and angered me. It doesn't seem 5 minutes since we were coming out of MK on the last train convinced that Robins would take us up and that was with the praise of the Arsenal fans still ringing in our ears after we had livened up their library for the night !

I disagree.

I think SISU could easily be history by Christmas.

I have lived abroad for many years, my club has never left my heart and I do everything possible to follow them online. I am with all the people who care about this club as if I was standing along side them at the ricoh.
