After the clamor to get tickets for the Gillingaham game, the week after we have Yeovil at home. Due to not being able to get through on the phone and because it being 48 miles each way for me to visit the ticket office I am very regrettably settling for the 2nd home game of the season.

How many will come to that. I really hope 20k + will keep the faith and return after tomorrow.

Think a lot will be down to the result and brand of football on display if I'm honest. A 3-0 win with attacking play is needed to encourage the masses back. A defeat, I think we are looking at 14k tops for Yeovil

What ever the result we will be there, after a season standing on a hill to watch my team, I am not giving up on the team again.

We always get the "occasional fans" turning out when word starts to spread that tickets might be hard to get hold of.

So, if we could get a few rumours started.....

Like your thinking, I sincerely hope the amazing atmosphere coupled with football on the pitch goes along way to showing the fair-weather fans we have a club to be proud of. If they get behind City we definitely can rise like the proverbial phoenix from the flames.

Have just had this discussion with a mate - both have tried to get some tickets for tomorrow - we need 4 and if they are being sold in a bunfight tomorrow at dawn with seats scattered all over the ground then we have decided not to bother - Shame as was really hoping to get there. so the conversation moved onto whether we will just make the Yeovil game our first for 2 seasons (home game that is). Looks like at least 4 to 6 of us will be doing just that - a decent result tomorrow and I reckon more might follow suit and 14k may easily be broken. If tomorrow is a disaster then 10-11k

If you want tickets for tomorrow you'll still get them, there are still 1000's left that could be sold.

Will depend on the result I think we have failed to win every time we have pulled a decent crowd to the Ricoh

I'd be surprised if we average less than 15k for the rest of the season. I think that as long as we don't start getting trounced every week then the feelgood factor is going to last a while and there are an awful lot of people who have missed watching football.

Can't really see it. With only 3K STs so far (although I'm sure that'll rise a bit), we won't be hitting those sort of numbers, not unless we're in the mix toward the end of the season.

We need:
1, A good show tomorrow, in front of the masses
2, An entertaining brand of football
3, Ongoing opening of blocks 14-10 for home fans to encourage atmosphere.
4, Tim Fisher to keep his fat trap shut and the club try and rebuild relationships.
5, Build up a bit of an unbeaten run.
6, Continue the ticket offers.

But this is City, so the gate will be declared at 25,500 with 3500 empty seats left for segregation and 3000 corporates missing, trouble will erupt as banners etc are confiscated, we play shit and Cody McDonald bags a brace to sink us and Tim Fisher bangs on all next week about building stadium La La Land !!

I'd love it to stay over 20k but I think 15k is more likely. I'll be taking a first timer to this one, my 5 year old and she's buzzing already. Just need to convince the 7 year old now.

I have a friend who supports Yeovil that I used to work with, and will probably meet him in casino. Never been in there, so gotta try it now we are back hopefully a nice win will pay for the two following away games

I'm not sure if he went in the casino the last time we played them at the Ricoh, but either way, will be good

Are away shirts allowed in there? And how much is a pint?

No problem with his Yeovil shirt and as I say £3.60 a pint but decent beer in a glass.

Total respect to you mate, up until the Ricoh fiasco I was a ST holder from Gloucestershire and watched us all over the country. Think the reverse Yeovil game will be your closest to travel to of the season?

cheers pal. unfortunately yes. can normally do it in 40 mins on a good run. nice little town and ground. shame it's on a tuesday, the opening day game there was brilliant.

but I'll be there regardless although their pitch freezes easily :thinking about:

That's slightly optimistic given we averaged less than 11k last time.

Fuck me haven't even played this game yet and people moaning about the gate against Yeovil.

Got my ticket for Yeovil so don't really care if others turn up or not.

It's their choice remember that is the usual consensus on here?????

She must love you! Do the decent thing though, take her somewhere nice afterwards and limit the football convo.
