Many on here thought League 1 was his ceiling after his first few games for us but he came good and was one of our best players last season . I’m confident he will adapt

I thought Ghobo was good today. He gave us much better balance to the team. It was great to see him work hard defensively and created space for others.

Completely agree, such a clever footballer. Happy to play it quickly, it to take the ball and drive. Always looking forward first. I was really impressed with his work rate too.

His drive to play direct and quick passing was forcing the players around him to do likewise .. his ability to find space is a real asset, rather than being stuck on the wing hugging the line.

Good to see Ghobo get a start today, and thought he did well in the first half before tiring in the second. He now gives us a viable option other than EMC or BTA on the left.
The competition will spur all 3 to be at a high level, and thats just what we need.
With more game time and fitness, Ghobo could be a great signing, but there will be far more sterner tests than Sunderland.
