Our underlying stats in a 433 under Lamps were godly.
We do look better with 2 up top, but if that 2 includes Wright, we'll be better still.Isn’t that case in point about xG stats though.
I mean we surely can’t ditch 5-3-2 at the minute even if we had all the players back as the only stat that matters is that we can’t stop winning. The big difference is we look so much better with 2 up top.
No I think the point is expected stats generally correlate with actual performances in the long term, and our expected stats were better in a 433, so let’s use that.Isn’t that case in point about xG stats though.

Also taking Allen out and moving Rudoni to the middle and bringing EMC in as a left sided midfielder (rather than a winger) would probably improve us as well.
That would leave Torp/Sheaf/Eccles competing for the last midfield spot.
Who says we need another midfielder in the window?
