Not much in the way of highlight was there.

Seems a clear penalty and hardly a complaint to be found from the Wycombe players.

If you watched the feed like me, there was hardly any footage that you would loosely term as highlights.

Quite simply shocking standard of football from both sides the only positive is the 3 pts.

Yep it was shocking. I'm delighted with 3 points, but I don't think we even set out to try and win the game. It was almost an accident that we did.

We did defend well and limited them to maybe one clear cut chance. But we offered no threat whatsoever despite dominating possession in the second half. Not sure if it's because of the lack of skill of our players, negative tactics or a combination of the two. Either way, it was horrid to watch.

Still, what a feeling at the end!

Let's hope with being at home Robins frees us up a bit more but suspect it will be more of the same with Lincoln and Rhead. Despite the seemingly galvanised team spirit and up turn in away form, we've still only scored 4 goals in 5 league games and 3 of those were penalties. Reid for Shipley would be my only change to the starting XI

I am sure he will be, but Willis lost Rhead for their goal at Sincil if I remember well and I think Hyam deserves to keep his place based on yesterday's showing. Also think Willis has been carrying a knock so give him a bit more of a break before the run in.

It was great listening to CWR. Crystal clear signal for the least interesting game possible and then

There was a split second where I thought the ref wasn't going to give it.

We could really do with another option from the right.
Time to give Bayliss a breather, sounds like he's hitting a wall out right.

Reid need to start on Saturday, he is our only winger after all.

Awful mistake by their left back to let Bayliss through. It really is the teams that fuck up the least that do well in this league.

Should have just put his foot through it and cleared it or put it into the stands.

That's part of why I've been annoyed with our tactics this season, so many teams who we've not put under pressure over the course of the season and so haven't made these mistakes. With JCH, McNulty, Reid and Bayliss that is 4 players who are very good for this level at direct running with the ball against a back peddling opponent. Barnet would shit themselves if we came out from the off trying to get the ball into their feet as soon as possible.

My immediate reaction at the time was that it was a massive dive, based on how theatrically he went down. I was shocked by the lack of reaction from the Wycombe players. Having watched it a few times though it looks like a 'modern day' penalty - poor defending from their player to just hang his leg out like that so Bayliss makes sure he catches it.

It's hard to see from that angle how much contact there was as well. It was almost as if Bayliss was looking for it as he cut inside onto his left rather than just hammering the shot on his right.

Again poor and inconsistent refereeing not to send the guy off. Wills on saturday wasn't as clear cut as that one.

It's because it was inside the box. If you give a penalty then its not a red card unless its serious foul play or violent conduct. All in the rules.

The game might have been dross but we achieved our objectives, stop a free scoring team from scoring (and really limited any real chances) and try and nick a goal.

We need to score more but we've only conceded 28 goals in 35 games, absolutely commendable particularly considering injuries and suspensions to various players.

It's a fantastic record and one to be proud of.

I don't mind that we don't score that many, but what does concern me is the spread of the goals, which are pretty much only coming from one player only.

Spread them across the team and it won't be a problem.

Yep, scary this season how many refs have got this wrong a player going for but not getting the ball, pen & red card. Seems real inconsistency
