I keep hearing people saying well done to the Cov fans for not reacting, it's more than likely that they saw a big intimidating bald headed steward with aggression seeping out of his bones, and typical City fans their Aristotle went, nothing to do with being restrained in the face of provocation.

i saw an angry city fan confront the fat bald steward only to be told if he touched him (the steward) he would face a football banning order and this was about 20 seconds after id heard the same steward say to an old geezer "move or you will get hurt".

so its ok for them to try and cause trouble.

I'm not saying it's okay for anybody to cause trouble.

Where were the much vaunted "Legion" when he was giving it the big one? Surely the lads could have sorted it being the hard nuts they are? Or is it another case of immature tough guys disappearing quicker than a snowman in the tropics the minute somebody actually stands up to them? 

There was an orange jacket steward outside at half time who had only just heard what had happened and he was disgusted with how it had been handled. He said there was no reason to remove it in such a manner and that he couldn't see why it would be removed!

The steward that removed it was making me angry smirking throughout the match, what a tosser.

it was a peaceful protest, the people trying to make it otherwise were the people in the orange coats.

sound like you want it to go off tho so why dont you pop up next time and chin a steward?

write and complain about that steward

why doesn't the steward involved come forward and explain his actions, and if he so wishes offer an apology ? or,

if, as has been suggested, that,
the order to remove at all costs came from the directors area, why don't they come forward and explain their actions ?

Oops, watch out 'aerial bacon' !!!!

You're assuming that he can actually read, write, spell or even form a cognitive thought.

Ah !
Good point IP, now I have his number though, I might attempt to converse with him @ the Dourby game, I bet though that he will be re-located for the next game.
I do however find amusing the fact that the majority have the word RESPONSE on their back
Rude
Espial
Surly
Pompous
Obdurate
Numskulls
Seeking
Exaltation

Not sure if mentioned but surely if that banner was banned due to health and safety reasons, why did that massive shirt (courtesy of CCFC) which at the end of last season got banded around the ground get away with the health and safety aspects of "giant banners in the crowds"?

Game, set and match.

Violence is never the answer. The point I'm making is where were the hard nuts of the "Legion" when the steward was giving it 10? They are okay mouthing off and gesticulating when surrounded by the law or when they have outnumbered the opposition at least 3 to 1, but they are nowhere to be seen when one steward is showing a bit of aggression.

So what do you suggest they should have done bearing in mind you don't advocate violence?

No it doesn't. Just clicked on the "play" button and was shown the statement "This Video Is Private". You may need to tweak around with it or put it on YouTube? Then you can post the YouTube link on here.

Lets not get our knickers in a twist over the tough guy steward and don't do anything that earns you a football banning order, this is a weapon that will be used. There is all season to get revenge on that lard arsed oath. Lets not deflect away from the important issue, getting SISU to throw the towel in and disappear back to Finland.

Support the players who are on the pitch rather than get involved with stewards in the stands. But I guess when egos are involved and a chance of 15 seconds on the telly come into it, the lads on the pitch are only an afterthought.

write and complain about that steward

no pictures yet of 'that charming man' No.26 that is, probably named Smith, who allegdely was the phantom flag flinger, no apologies offered from him,
indeed no apologies from the directorial area who supposedly ordered the removal 'at all costs'
