We need as many as possible on here and beyond to write and officially complain about the manner of the way that banner was removed, even local radio said it was over the top. What it will do is the club will have to respond to any official letter of complaint. So get as many as possible to write whether there or not. There will be 5 coming from my house, 4 from my sisters even though she is in Majorca and a few from the neighbours.

Bully. Who's evidently stewarding for all the wrong reasons; namely that it gives him a right to exercise power over people in a way that's missing elsewhere in his life.

His evident aggression points to 'bedroom problems' too. Bet his pants house something akin to a young acorn.....

Someone pen together a letter template and I would send one in.

He wound up the fans the way he took and threw the banner away, something stewards are not supposed to do.

Why antagonise the fans? What a really stupid thing to do.

I was in the opposite end of the ground but was disgusted by his actions. Snatched it like he was 3 years old. Have we got an email address to forward complaints to?

My question is do they have a right to remove banners? The stewards and Sisu do not own the Ricoh...

Taken away for Health & Safety reasons..

Personally I'm not too fussed about it being taken away, SISU would have seen and got the message, my annoyance is the way it was taken away.

Exactly. There would have been a few boos. As it was it looked like it might get quite nasty at one point and I was wondering if fans might come down from their seats and try to get pitchside.

after the game when we were protesting i witnessed a big fat bald steward grab a bloke who must have been 60 and say to him "move or you will get hurt"

didnt get his number but i know who he is and he will get reported when i get his number.

a peaceful protest yet the stewards wanted to kick off the wankers.

I'll be honest, I was about 5 rows up from it, ran down 3 rows to try and get hold of the flag to stop it. Just completely lost my temper, could not understand the petty childish behaviour as I saw the orange coats running down the stairs and the poor lads who were trying to fold up the flag to send it back up panicking as they waded in.

I will pen a letter tomorrow, simple and to the point, no swearing, no SISU out and no names. ALSO better still a similar letter to SISU H.Q hopefully from hundreds of us. Again, that steward acted on their behalf. What will this do, it will take up shed loads of time opening all the letters which they will have to do, simple piss them off tactic. NEED the SISU London address

Good old health and safety rules eh?
I am sure the removal of the banner in the way in which described is in contravention to the right to peaceful prostest in the good old European Human Rights act. Perhaps highlight that to SISU in the letters.

Good turnout today for the protest especially after... What you reckon 100? Need more tho and if nothing happens before derby then big numbers required before and after especially on box

Next time tell him he is a very bad man.

Or stand in the way, let him shove you and then go for a roll down the steps. A few bruises but he'll get sacked, you'll get a nice payout and hero status for following the advice of an idiot on an internet forum, and they'll be scared to go anywhere near you again. No?

Stewards have regular places in the ground. Next home game, someone take his photo and post it on here. Then we'll all know what he looks like!

Police are those who want to enforce the law but generally like a fight with their batons and colleagues protection who were bullied at school but not bright enough to be lawyers
Referees are pocket Hitler wannabe coppers who were useless at football and were also bullied at school but too scared to go out on the beat
Bouncers are people who think they have authority but are too fat and unfit to be a referee and who were not bright enough to pass the idiot entrance exam for the police
Stewards are wannabe bouncers who are not brave enough to stand where they might get glassed but like to look hard with the police CCTV giving it out to some chav kids

Hope this helps

to clarify ^only the orange ones btw - the ordinary stewards are largely decent men and women

Asked a steward why was the banner was removed when there was nothing offensive on it ,he said it was nothing to do with health And safety they had a call from someone in the directors box who demanded it was removed at all cost.

SISU just love making themselves look like complete twats. The stewards by and large are wankers and Ken Delieu is the biggest prick of the lot, I preferred Richardson!

What happened to freedom of speech, there was no aggression from the fans, but a peaceful protest. This is black mark against the club IMO, they have made fools of themselves, I'm sure the stewards were just acting under instructions from the club. This is only goes to inflame the whole situation and make things worst for SISU and there bad enough in the first place

Exactly, he could have caused a lot of probelms with his bullish attitude, please bare in mind that he was instructed to do his job, it was the manner in which he carried out his job, totally inapropriate and the potential to incite football violence, a big well done to the cov fans for not reacting in a violent manner, everyone has the right to protest, as long as it's done in the correct manner, well done lads!!!

Out of curiosity, was it a fat balding gentleman that caused all this grief? If so, he's a PROPER Bellend!

I keep hearing people saying well done to the Cov fans for not reacting, it's more than likely that they saw a big intimidating bald headed steward with aggression seeping out of his bones, and typical City fans their Aristotle went, nothing to do with being restrained in the face of provocation.
