It really is given the refs position
Can you imagine watching that in a training session and anyone saying no that’s not a foul

How is it a ‘coming together’ when their player has gone feet first into him to bring Wright down! Clear pen

No, but we add it to the list.

It's growing each week at a rapid rate.

The more you see the Wright one that would be a foul anywhere else on the pitch. Definitely a pen, Tatsu was even clearer.

The Tats one I also thought was handball by the defender before the foul, but only seen it real time so definitely interested to see that one again.

Probably get accused of some kind of disloyalty for this. Their (horrible) player gets to the ball first, heading it past Haji, who can't get out of the way, resulting in the Ipswich guy being smashed backwards to the ground by Haji's arm, and that's why their legs tangle. I presume that's how the ref saw it.

I was close to that one, and in real time I thought it might have touched Saka's hand. Not seen a replay though.

most of it, haji's arm doesn't make him fall like that

the defender tangles his legs with haji, he may not mean it but it's no less a foul

in fact it's furlongs habit of doing down at the slightest touch that means he brings haji down

So not the deliberate scissor tackle that people are claiming?

he does scissor him, why does it have to be deliberate? a foul is still a foul

You could argue that Wright body checked him first. Wrights momentum is going towards Furlong even after the ball has gone past him. I thought it was a foul in the ground but the missus was watching on TV and said there commentators and pundits didn't think it was. Interesting Lampard did not even mention it in his press conference.

Haji one looked outside the area (view from the South stand)
Didn’t really have an opinion on the Saka one.
Then again haven’t been able to bring myself to look at the highlights yet.

haji moves across the defender like a forward should, there is absolutely no body check

Wright's looked a clumsy pen . Didn't see much in sakas I must say

Hopefully they were pens though and we can continue to complain to the EFL. Might pay off down the line

"I thought it was a foul," said Lampard, when quizzed on the aforementioned incident. "Somebody said to me it might not be in the box, but if it's in the box then it's a penalty. I thought that was quite clear, but I haven't had chance to see it again."

The ball has been headed past Haji. In turning to chase it, he obstructs their player which knocks him to the ground. The ball's not within playing distance, so it's not shielding. Accidental on the part of both players.

The one involving Saka looked more of a handball than anything else from where I sat in the family stand. It looked like the defender didn’t realise Saka was there and scooped the ball with his right arm
