It does show when people have visited a profile, y'know..

As for the sign-if the sign is available to use...what do you expect? You just come looking for a fight all the time and have a high and mighty attitude. You think you are really smart. You don't want to debate, you just want to wind people up and illustrate how much better than everyone else you think you are, when you are just another sad man at a keyboard.

Sorry, it's the best smiley available!

Just because you are regularly wrong and found out, you get in a huff.

Tell you what, don't talk bolocks all the time, and i won't need to point it out, deal?

Well that's your opinion, not fact. But to you, of course, there's no difference, 'cos you are always right.

Sorry, I'll post what I want. And when you post bullshit opinions back at me, you'll get more of my opinions. Just what you want, eh? Smart guy..

ah, here I am in the caravan after watching the 4-11 talent contest and the Elvis impersonator and I didnt think things could get worse.

Great rendition of "Girl Of My Best Friend" though.

Sadly our manager is more like Neil Howie the fool who came oh so willingly. The twist in this plot is the followers of our particular cult will permit the crop to fail again and again. Time to make the appointment for Thorn with the Wicker Man.

Hiya Torch!

I bitched so much at work that we're hiring a dedicated person to answer the phone to our friends who we help (you know, Our Friends in the South )

It's possibly my greatest Machiavellian moment yet. The power of email.

Problem is we are skint. Imagine how big the Wicker Man would need to be to fit Thorn in.

Could go partly the Nic Cage route and try just bees first?

Though he may eat them.

Thorn could probably act better than Nick Cage. If it was the original he'd probably eat all the chickens as well.

"not the bees, not the bees, my eyes, my eyes, aaaarrrrghhh!"

An affectionate tribute to Nic Cage's acting ability.

Hi, Wrexham fan in peace. Used to live in Cov for a while, just wondering if a Mike posts on here who works/worked in the HMRC. Shot in the dark but just thought I'd ask.

Would you like Andy Thorn as manager? Widely regarded here. I bet we played you off the pitch tonight and I bet you have never seen a side play such total football....have you?

Yeah, the Wrexham fan who did an earlier thread said that he has been on a good run of goalscoring form and has looked a decent prospect for them, amongst others.

Just got back! Well about 30 mins ago. Long drive back after losing 4-1 to Wrexham that combined with my shitty sat Nav app I have on my phone which I think has brought me the longest way possible even when I clearly chose the 'fastest' route! (wouldn't recommend navfree. What I get for using the only free sat Nav for an iPhone. Tight git that I am That said my reporting is a lot better than my map reading! Will teach me to not forget my 'proper' sat Nav next time when away from home!).

I am genuinely starting to worry for next season now. As Thorn was able to bring in signings of his own, albeit free transfers, I was beginning to have a bit of hope thinking we would do well. But the last 2 friendlies alone, and I could probably include Invetness in that, have been woeful to say the least! I do think AT should be greatful that we won against Hinckley and Brora as if he hadn't I do seriously think he'd be out of a job tonight! I firmly believe he should still be as I get the impression the players just aren't up to him being manager anymore.

I wanted to believe he was the right man and I've posted I. The past to say he will do alright this season, but I'm beginning to think the opposite now and I'm worried!

I for one hope he can prove me (amongst many) wrong, but I do t think he will.

Ps, glad my reports are appreciated. Hope you don't expect the same service when the league starts

Thanks again SW88! Hope you don't mind me asking a couple more questions. Do you see any positives? Like, indications of players beginning to spark off each other, even if they are not quite there yet? Did it look like Thorn was trying things out tonight like seeing if one or two players could play in different positions? (it doesn't look like it worked) And did the players look uninterested, baffled, unfit, disjointed or something else?

It would be a real coup to get an ex-Championship/League 1 manager in. That said, we're happy with the Morrell/Barr team we've got thank you.

I didn't go tonight, friendlies aren't my thing although I'm encouraged by the reports of the performance to go along with the result.

I saw Kevin Thornton mentioned earlier in this thread too, he's on trial with us at the moment, has been for about a month but is yet to play due to injury. Shame really as he seems the sort of creative midfielder we need should he remain fit and is half decent mentally.

It's called a shared opinion. I suspect if you continue in your own worship of the Clueless One you may find yourself completely on your own (well Dongonzalos will still be with you).

Can this get bigger than the Pompey thread, or are we saving that for defeat at Yeovil? Glad I'm working now.

Plenty of talent but lets just say between the ears is where he's lacking. You're about his 18th last chance, I assume based on the Morrell connection, but I'd be very wary of damaged goods. And that's coming from one of his greatest fans when he was here and not...erm..letting his "off-pitch escapades" detract from his performances.

It maybe a summer of love, I may love you, cloughie, the lord and AT. May even start to like the smarmy car salesman from sisu if we get promoted.
