They’re wankers. They want to have the trophy lift on tv but don’t want us to win it there. We’ll win the league sat at home because of those cunts

I actually booked a flight over to Portugal for early on that Sunday to avoid missing the game on Saturday. To say I'm pissed off is an understatement.

That is a diabolical decision to schedule it then.

Maybe so but to put us on last on that weekend virtually guarantees the trophy will be presented that day.

Don't get the reaction to this, we knew 100% the game was going to be moved. Much better this than the Friday night. At least this almost guarantees that we are lifting the trophy at home and not in front of the Watford away end

Gutted. Probably can't make it now.

Really hope we do it vs Portsmouth now. Fuck Sky.

Don't think I can make Portsmouth. This winning the league lark is a pain in the arse!

This is my thoughts

Sky were always going to want us last for a potential trophy lift

Yeah, and we all collectively shit our pants when we got moved to Friday v Blackburn. We can't have it both ways.

We need to prepare for next year. I think I saw a stat the other day that said Villa have only had 1 Saturday 3pm game at home in the last 12 months

Yeah, and if the worst case scenario happens and the league is won on the Saturday, watch those games in the Tavern or something

Though they have been in Europe so pretty much guarantees Sunday fixtures as follow ups. Especially in the Europa league

True, but when almost half the league is in Europe we'll be involved against some of those teams as well + the TV games

Selfishly this works for me when it wouldn’t have Saturday night so I’m personally quite buzzing but really feel for those that can’t make it, especially those who purposely moved plans to the Sunday.

Something needs to be done about moving fixtures so close to the date, just not fair.

Yeah I do agree with this. 3 weeks for the penultimate set of fixtures is a bit too soon

Yeah, I think last year's Championship winners Leeds, have had 14 Saturday games, though I think, not necessarily 3pm kick offs, but I'm prepared to be corrected on that

I don't know what the connotations are? I guess if others play on Saturday and results go our way we need to wait until the next day to celebrate it out our game?

I don't know what the ifs and calculations are

I agree, but it's what all the clubs in the league signed up for when they took sky's bag of cash

On the basis that it was inevitable that it would be moved. I'm personally delighted as I'm not doing night games any more

Sons going to the opening parties in Ibiza that Sunday2, to say he is raging is an understatement. 16 years a supporter through thick and thin now theyve taken that trophy moment away from him. SKY ARE WANKERS

Most of us knew that game would be on TV. I dont understand why anyone booked anything for that weekend without confirmation and is now complaining its been moved. Its shit of course but i cant be sympathetic about it.

It was always going to be on TV and the two EFL slots are Friday night and Sunday lunchtime so on that basis this is the better option. Did people think it was not going to be televised?

Would be annoying as fuck to win on the Friday but have to wait until 5pm Friday to see if that was enough to do the job.

There is a slot at 5.15pm Saturday and that would have achieved the same objective. Southampton v Blackburn could easily have been played 12pm Sunday and it's not even certain to go ahead given it's also FA Cup Semi final weekend.

Maybe the 5.15 slot will be for the FA cup game and no other fixtures will go up against it

Just have to confirm the title against Portsmouth then to piss them off!
