We need to prepare for next year. I think I saw a stat the other day that said Villa have only had 1 Saturday 3pm game at home in the last 12 months

There is a slot at 5.15pm Saturday and that would have achieved the same objective. Southampton v Blackburn could easily have been played 12pm Sunday and it's not even certain to go ahead given it's also FA Cup Semi final weekend.It was always going to be on TV and the two EFL slots are Friday night and Sunday lunchtime so on that basis this is the better option. Did people think it was not going to be televised?
