Tats motm
Wright and bta may as well have not bothered
Woolfenden, we need Thomas back.
Rushworth could have done better

Lampard. Set up wrong, made changes too late.

Officials, one goal was offside and the other was a clear foul on tats. Still, we were poor.

We lost the center of midfield due to the way Frank set us up. But we still could of got something out of the game, Woolfenden looks worryingly poor, Bidwell is past his sell by date. And KKH is not at the level of MvE

Torp should of started as we had a number of first half free kicks that we wasted, and Wright would of benefited from Torp's supply (Has Wright scored since Torp's been out?) Allen is light weight and Eccles would of offered some steel in midfield.

Rushworth, kept us in it at times. Let down by what was in front of him.
KKH - not bad, but he's no Milan. It's hard to know if he was afraid to attack or was told not to.
Woolfenden - hurry back Bobby.
Kitching - not his best, but poor.
Bidwell - past it.
Tats - our man of the match.
Allen - squad player.
Grimes - too much was asked of him.
EMC - great goal, err...
BTA - worked hard.
Wright - was on the pitch.

Simms - worked hard, little decent service.
Eccles/Torp/Dasilva - came on too late

Wright isn't a center forward. I actually forgot he was on the pitch. Bidwell is div 2 class at best. This defeat was always coming and in a way thank God its out the way and whatever happens we will still be top Sunday. This is where Frank proves all the hype he's been getting isn't a flash in the pan. This one is 100% down to him though.

Woolfie was poor, hopefully Bobby Thomas is back on Tuesday otherwise Campbell will give him another tough time.

Rushworth 5
KKH 5
Woolfenden 2
Kitching 5
Bidwell 3
Grimes 6
Allen 5
Tats 10
BTA 4
Wright 4
EMC 5 (other than the goal he was terrible)

it’s really worrying that we’ve been so open in midfield recently and had many shots on our goal as a result, and nothing has been done to address it.

Our starting 11 is top 6. A few changes and the level drops dramatically, which to be fair we knew would be the case. Reinforcements needed in January desperately.

Not specifically tonight, bit unfair on Simms but in general he’s a much more menacing and dangerous player than Simms will ever be😕
I said before Wrexham signed him he would have been great for us, but think he's the sort of character who'd rather be the main man at a lower team than a backup at a bigger one.

People saying wrong formation other than maybe Eccles for BTA there wasn’t much we could do. Lats Torp and Dasilva not match fit.

Rushworth 6
KKH 6 needs games passive
Bidwell 5
Wolfenden 4 had his pants pulled down, a defender that doesn’t like defending
Kitching 5 all over the place at times

Allen 5 overrun
Grimes 6 faded
EMC 5 good goal but lazy and wasteful
saka 9 brilliant
BTA 4 overconfident
Wright 4 crap since he returned from international duty

With such a weakened team, the formation was the real problem. I think it was trying to get your best players into the team, rather than pick the best team to play the match. The warning signs were there against Watford that we're liable to get over-run in midfield with it. Sure enough..

Saka was brilliant, best player on the pitch, really, but not backed up by his teammates. That back-heeled nutmeg at the start of the second half was filth.

The forward line had no real service, but BTA and Wright were very poor. The less said about Woolfenden's night the better.
