EMC really needs to lift his game..he's got so much space to run into. And is countless times offside.

Need to get Haji into the game.

Really is a game for Ellis Simms at least he holds it up.

Well that’s my point, we’re doing this only because we’re down to two central midfielders

I think he’d have played two in there either way (torp for Allen) and we’d probably still have got overrun a bit

If we can get Torp and JDS on in the 2nd half that will be good. Wright isn’t at it today and Simms being more physical might be a better option at some point.

1-0. Great.
But let's not dress this up as good.
Not been great at the back. Centre halves getting played through the middle of and both fullbacks been poor.
Got exposed on Saturday but had already gone two up, but the two in midfield not really protecting the back four either.
BTA dropping deep and giving the ball away.
Best we've been is when Sakamoto has the ball but he's being doubled up on.

Love BTA's confidence but he may perhaps resist shooting every time he gets the ball

Get Brau on, he can’t be that bad, and Simms for Wright.

A difficult half but weve found the goal , hopefully step up 2nd half

As said earlier 5 starters out , the team dynamic changes and we look less fluid
Yup. And despite the 1 goal lead, we do need to step it up in the second half

This game might suit Eccles joining the fray at some point.

We are a bit lucky that Wrexham's shooting and touch in and around the penalty area have been poor so far

We need more from Wright.

Grimes has been superb. Purring like lioness and Saka has been very lively.

Seriously, we're a class above these and it's plain to see.

Sheaf brings down EMC as he heads towards goal and our fans started singing his song. Daft cunts.

Coming round to the idea that Wright doesn’t operate particularly well with BTA. He wants balls fed into his path but isn’t really getting that recently.

Really? All the evidence from the Watford game showed how risky it was

Missing 5 of our best 11 and winning 1-0 away at HT. I'll take it, I'm not sure what else you'd expect really. Would like Torp on soon if he's able though.

Need to step it up in the second half as been a bit sloppy, clinical finish by EMC. Hopefully bring Torp on around 60th minute.

Agreed. He's had his first shot in 3 games...and that was taking a direct freekick.

We've been lucky defensively. We've got to tighten things up at the back. Wright has been missing, but hopefully he'll score in the second half.

Really well done city. Away to a dangerous side with several really good players (Ben, Dom and Matt) and a huge lump up front; seriously depleted; but still we find a way to score an excellent goal and come in at half time ahead.

So are we never allowed to call out shit performances ever again because we once lost away at FGR?

Can see at least one half-time change, maybe Torp or Eccles.

Missing half the team tbf, it's poor and really we should have conceded a couple but its all about the 3 points, the performance is not a concern with so many out.

Our least convincing performance of the season yet, but not overly surprising given half of our starters are out.

100% Pusb1. We have to bring on either Eccles or Torp in place of Allen at half time to gain back control and presence in midfield. I see Allen as a finisher in the last 20 and not a starter.

BTA has been amazing this season but Wright is being crowded out by BTA in this formation - and BTA's advanced position is leaving us short in midfield.

We're much more balanced with Rudoni as the 10.

On the other hand EMC is causing nightmares and Saka's quality is just different class.
