Why do you think that is?

Because we have pretty crap fans. Norwich got relegated, get hammered 7-1 in their first match I league one and still got 23k for the next match. You can blame Sisu but the attendances had already started falling since the first season at the Ricoh.

How many of h 1k+ that said they would not go while King was here have come back since he left? I suspect they found another excuse.

If they moved to Northamptonshire it wouldnt be Coventry City.

Each to their own, but if they ever did move, I would take great delight in seeing the business previously known as Coventry City fc Ltd going bust.

A club that has been part of a city for 130 years being ripped from its place in the communtiy is unforgivable and unjustifiable.

10 Sisu board members, along with about another 10 from the previous regime are all in the right.

The other 11k people are wrong.

Norwich fans wouldnt put up with the crap we have so actually you might be onto something.

Yet, you would take "great delight".

Still, it won't happen anyway.

Norwich are the only major club within a 40 mile radius.

For once I agree with you on that.

And yes I would take great delight. MK Dons should be wiped from the earth, and the hypothetical situtation CCFC moving would make us no better than them should I would hold the new club in the same regard.

The owners of Norwich did a great job in bringing in new fans, as this shows. Are Norwich fans now classed as fickle?

2010–11: 25,386
2009–10: 24,755
2008–09: 24,542
2007–08: 24,527
2006–07: 24,544
2005–06: 24,833
2004–05: 24,350
2003–04: 18,866
2002–03: 20,352
2001–02: 18,670
2000–01: 16,525
1999–2000: 15,539
1998–99: 15,761
1997–98: 14,445

Up 43% in 13 years

True but with over 300k in cov and 500k in Warwickshire we should be getting better crowds. Puts the "we're a big club" in to perspective.

We'd lost 4k between 2005/06 and 2008/09 season before we even sold the likes of Dann and Fox. There was no real sisu hate until 2009/10 when we sold them.

But we still managed to average 21k a couple of years ago, 18k a couple of years ago....15k last season.....now 10,600

Are those 11k missing fans now going to Brum, villa or Leicester?

Was going to make the same point, although you are of course factually correct Brighton Sky Blue, I don't think our missing fans are going elsewhere.

Although the loyalty of our fans is questionable, I personally cannot blame anyone for not going to watch. If you're spending a lot of money on a shit product that you take little to no enjoyment from then why would you keep paying for it. Normally you wouldn't. With football it's slightly different, but with those who are less passionate it's barely surprising they're deserting in their droves.

If you, and a few others went to home games, instead of putting money in competitors back pockets nobody would be having this discussion in the first place.

I would say that being relegated two divisions and achieving bugger all would be behind that drop in crowds.

As a CCFC based in London, 45 minutes would be a dream! Regularly 3 hours door to door

Quite a few on here who travel further than that anyway.

Seem to be thousands of City fans who won't travel a couple of miles to see them now because, "the buses aren't convenient", "the pies are too cold", "the beer is too warm", "the queue for the toilet is too long", and "not getting another penny whilst Sisu are in charge".

Never happen anyway.

The beers too cold. On these cold days and night's it turns you into a ice cube
