No, I believe we must do everything in our power to avoid relegation. Because it could be many, many years before we can get up to L1 again. getting promotion from a league is not easy, even from L2. How many years is it since we were last promoted, almost 50?

Yeah and 34 of them years are due to being in the Prem and another 8 are due to SISU!

I'd say yes. But League 2 + SISU? Doesn't bare thinking about. I can't see them leaving, they must be haemorrhaging money with no realistic way to get any of it back? If they haven't already left what's going to make them?

If we avoid the drop this season I would be very surprised if we're not battling for survival again next year. It's not a case of would I take league 2 if SISU go, if they stay we're having league 2 and maybe lower. We as fans need to come together and work out a way or ways to put as much pressure as we can on them to go before this happens or worst-case scenario before we do back to back relegations because if we do go down the only mix I can see us in will be the one at the wrong end of the table.

the club needs a reboot.
There have been few occasions under SISU ownership where the footballing side looked like it was moving forward.
We can revisit the financial side of stadium revenues etc. but sides with less income have managed to do better than we have.
Key areas have been poor player recruitment as shown by the high turnover of signings particularly the number of players that have come and gone within a year. The 2nd area is the procession of managers whose main skill seems to be on the media / PR side rather than the footballing side. Surely we have the highest % of ex-managers who are regular pundits on the telly!!
I can't see SISU going. I do see the next few seasons being dominated by new stadium issues and court cases. I don't see any prospect of Wasps giving us significant access to extra revenues in the next few years as we are basically tied into a 4 year rental deal. I don't see the owners putting in new funds to the footballing side and they will probably continue to focus on the balancing of books and the further cutting of costs when the balance needs redressing.
It becomes a vicious circle that extra revenue is dependent on success on the pitch which can only seemingly be achieved by spending more money in the first place.
You can't help but wonder if the 28000 who turned up for the 1st game back at the Ricoh had seen a game like the Preston or Bristol city games from last season how many more might have stuck with it longer than the one week they did.
The only logical short-term fixes would seem to be a change in manager and a change in who is recruiting players. even these changes would seem to be restricted by the aims that league 1 survival is the key goal rather than any push towards the higher end of the table.

No I never want my team relegated even with this lot in charge. I get the debate but it's a no from me.

All it takes is one piece of good luck and it all can change.

even if we get away with it this year can you see anything other than relegation struggles for the foreseeable future? a change of ownership wouldn't affect the outcome of this season anyway.

Yes I agree but look at Birmingham stayed up with 1 injury time goal and now planning for the future with a good manager after a change. That's all it takes.

Sisu wouldn't go if we were relegated anyway which is a massive shame.

We will end up in L2 it's seems to be a certainty now.
Sisu will do in L2 what they did in the championship and in this league and that's cut cut cut.
Realistically I can see Sisu using the club as a dumping ground for all it's toxic debt.
The future looks bleak...

As others have said, sisu have taken so much from the club that I love it doesn't feel the same anymore. Until they are gone it won't feel like my club, it's simply a matter of holding on the slippery slope and inevitably going down and down u ntil we finally no longer have a club at all. We will never ever progress under these owners, so in my eyes, whatever it takes.

Sadly I don't think that a drop to League 2 will get rid of Sisu and despite the fact that they're obviously not doing much for the club at the moment I think we're stuck with them. As a fan I can't wait for them either to be gone or to do something positive rather than just launching lawsuits at anyone who moves. I've never wanted us to be relegated and I would like to see us move up (at least) a division in my lifetime. I don't believe that we'd recover from League 2 for many years if at all.

Joy has no limits when we look to the sky.

But who expected SISU to be able to decide 100% what would happen during the admin process? Who thought they could only put debt and the rent deal up for anyone interested in our club and nothing else? Appleton is still looking for the golden share as it wasn't where it should have been.

I'm. Not saying go down to get rid of sisu as there are no guarantees. The question albeit hyothetical, was worded to mean if it was a straight choice and accepted that they had gone if we went down, would you take the relegation. To clarify the choice for 2015/16 being L1 & SISU or L2 without. If you could wsve the wand which would you select?

I would take relegation in a heartbeat if it meant we were free of Sisu and could have a fresh start with new owners. I would still love and support my club however low a division we were playing in, but it hardly feels like my club anymore. Sisu are destroying fans affinity with the club. It's like an ever growing void that is getting harder each week to cross.
