It's just words though. My point is that look at Cardiff. Where are they now? Bottom - same place as us only a league higher & yes having won a match...ultimately the money donations are a stop-gap measure. The same old problems resurface in the end.

Could be Cardiff now have a shit manager that hasn't got a clue about the league his team is playing in. Hang on a second something sounds very familiar about my statement!

So written proof isn't worth the paper it's written on then eh?

It is often.
Just doesn't alter the folly of donating heavily unless you have a pre-existing passion or a genuine mission. Chelsea for example a passionate indulgence, Man City part of a determined genuine mission.

Can't be done with sustainability. Cardiff are some £80 in debt despite his massive donations - they will dry up eventually

Its not bollocks and I,m sure your dog is not that bothered.
Quite why you think revenue would increase when SISU leave has no base what so ever. Attendance levels are based on the success on the pitch not on whoever own us. Its not a magic wand you can wave even if investment happened. Stability and a longer term plan would be far more desirable and the hope we can gain promotion which investment even if applied can not guarantee.

Spot on, the club needs to be sustainable to even have a chance of being sold. They are here to make a profit or at least mitigate any loss as best as possible. The club sitting in league two isn't going to help that decision.

Ironically all of the fans screaming and shouting 4-5 years ago saying that SISU should never own the ground even prior to wasps were that blinded by hatred against our owners but failed to see the bigger picture. Chances are we would have been rid of them by now. We are now in a shitty place and most fans will take anything to get rid of them but it goes back to who would take over and would this out us in a better or worse position? Fan ownership is the romantic option but apart from on here this option has never been muted anywhere has it? I have not heard of any Coventry businessmen coming together to form a cooperative to take the club? Wasps, again never heard of anything even remotely concrete on this rumour, anyone thought that a hedge fund with two clubs isn't a great idea?

Yes I must've bowed to your superior intellect...or maybe I leapt in a little hastily once I made my mind up that what you were suggesting is most likely not going to be the order of things for L1 outfits long term. Its partly why we are where we are!

I'll clear their debts for a seat on the board.
