Is that what we paid? Less than wasps bought it for....

We had 7 seasons at £1.2m and then add the £500K taken from the bond account, whatever it was the FL said we had to pay and then what we're paying from this season onwards. Got to be approaching £10m and nothing to show for it, Wasps pay just over half that and own the place for the next 250 years!

The escrow was established from unspent grant monies, CCFC never put a penny in, but became liable to top it up, something the FL insisted on I think.

Excited about? Not sure where you came to that conclusion. It didn't happen and we got screwed over for £9m rent. Why are you and others trying to justify it as a good deal?

And anyway, didn't the same Paul Fletcher slag everyone off in his book, saying they ripped the football club off?

Not trying to justify anything.

'We hope to make an announcement shortly', says to me they were hoping to do a deal for 500k in the championship and 1.5 million in the premiership.

You asked am I just making figures up. I showed you that I wasn't.
Then you questioned whether a document is legit ????

To be honest I haven't followed a lot of where this debate has gone. I was still back at the beginning where I think you were asking have we ever seen any figures about a sliding rent.

Well yes we have now there is the club itself asking for 1.5 million in the prem and 500k in the championship.

I presume the fact you are questioning whether this is made up or legit, means it goes against something you are currently debating. I was just trying to dig out if the sliding rent was mention anywhere. NOT justifying anything.

Yep should have forked that money out straight away or very early on and bought ACL.

It was how I felt whenever I rented anywhere. You pay nearly the same as the monthly mortgage amount with nothing to show for it.
Bloody annoying. However due to my circumstances that was how it was.

But you are talking about the value if the property management company as oppose to the value of the Ricoh itself.

The Ricoh freehold now has no value whatsoever.

No, you have produced no evidence of that at all. This is a statement in the accounts isn't it?

Not sure why I am bothering to answer this but.......

I was looking to see if there is anything out there about sliding scale rent discussion. As I could not recall all the debates on here.

That document mentions sliding scale rent and the FACT the club were asking for 500k and 1.5 million.

What evidence are you talking about and what point are you making that I have not presented evidence for?

If you look at the council document on the Ricoh (think it's the one that shows where all the funding came from), it states that the freehold is practically worthless at the start of the original lease but its value would increase as it neared the end of the lease. It's going to be a long time now before the freehold has any value and even then probably just the cost of the land if you think about the state the stadium is likely to be in by 2264.
