Wembley every time for me.

As fans, we long for that day in the sun, being the best there is in the competition we are playing in, surrounded by tens of thousands of CCFC fans all going through the same experience.

I cant help rewinding to comparing that to standing in The Valley, watching Charlton absolutely hammer us but we stayed up in the championship.

Two completely different feelings of emotion.

We will always have 2nd April 2017.

We get "just staying up" most seasons !

the memories of Wembley might just make a few younger supporters who've had fuck all else to cheer in their Sky blue supporting lives stick with the club in the hope they get to experience it again, just like us older ones have done with 87.

I don't think coming through a L1 relegation scrap would do that.
Winning the Checkatrade could prove to be a very important day for the club, for practical reasons as well as emotional.

If only two things come of this Wembley experience - A generation of younger supporters start to follow the club and our younger players (those that will be here for the start of next season) use the experience to propel themselves and therefore the team onwards, then I might view the worth of this competition a little more favourably. Grrrrrrr!!

NOPM? Where did you get that from? So after 32 years (apart from Northampton) as a season ticket holder who has decided not to renew next season, that makes me priceless does it? Wonder how much of my season tickets and replica shirts over the last 9 years while Sisu have owned the club were NOPM?
My stance changed on Fisher saying "well I will just cut the playing budget if people do not renew". If you had done a bit more research you would have seen that I said that if the team performed we would pay on a match by match basis. Maybe "berks" was a bit ott but if people want to invest £300 in Fisher and co buying their new 17 plate Jags, go for it!

You should probably take a look at yourself first. I don't think anyone is suggesting we should be in the champions league but by the same token we don't deserve to be in the forth division. We're bigger than that. The only thing holding us back (or should that be dragging us down) is crap owners and fickle fans like you who can't except that we've been displaced from a natural order.

They only got 22.5% from me Clint.
Hehe what a bonus with my free bus pass.
Tbf they had 200% out of me on the ST though as I pretty much stopped going from the MK game. :'(
Just don't know about next year, definitely having a CRFC ST next season, £130.
£270 for the equivalent seat at the RICOH, which with snake oil applied hasn't gone up or like last year went up £20
I reckon I could /should donate, that would be a no brainer with a new owner, even with these lot it could be feasible but for the debt tied in.

Fair play to you Wingy. I wouldn't want to encourage any CCFC fan to stop going to the Ricoh and watch CRFC instead, but if you can do both a season ticket for Cov Rugby is bloody good value. Only lost once at home this season (to the runaway champions) and have been recruiting well already for next year with some really exciting players coming including an ex All Black.

Each to their own of course, but I find it a really good day out - if nothing else the stewards there actually make you feel welcome, which is a nice change.

don't blame anyone for jacking in, just annoys me when people start slating those who want to still go. To be fair, I may have been a bit too quick to accuse adage of that based on a post I think I misinterpreted.

I obviously haven't been to every game as they clash with us and work sometimes, but I Reckon I've only seen them lose about 3 times over the course from when Fisher introduced them to me via Northampton.
The new friends I've made see me as a lucky charm.
Next season looks very promising.
Oh but the City
I'll probably shell out of guilt but attendance might waver again.

Don't see why they can't do an offer if buying both season tickets. The link is still there with the ticket office and both have empty seats to sell.

Even match ticket offers for CCFC ST holders and vice versa.

they did an offer for one game last season. City weren't playing and CRFC offered a discount on a match day ticket to ST holders.

Nope, the only time in my 24 years on this earth I've seen CCFC win something.

It wasn't just the game/win either, the whole weekend was fantastic, a truly memorable weekend spent with my family and fellow CCFC fans.

i still put the ch5 highlights on,skip to 25 mins and watch g thomas goal at least once every 4 days lol

i think what i enjoyed most was the randomness of celebrating with fellow coventarians. guy behind me was friendly because our tickets got mixe dup, guy to left of me was a ryan haynes lookalike who was friendly, to right my cousin was snapchatting everything(youngersters)

No, it was a great day out and staying in league1 for another season would only prolong the agony. At least with us being relegated something has changed and will hopefully promt a change of ownership and chairman.....fingers crossed....
