That's fair enough, but he was looking after no 1.
People are deluding themselves if they think he loves the club.

I'm sure he's got fond memories of his time here but he's moved on.

And then it's game over for him after that stint, I think it would actually appeal to him if the set up was the same, but it isn't,and conversely we could stay up for the duration of his deal, but I'm just giving an opinion I don't really care I'm sure there would be another out there, younger and hungrier.

Errrr I think he would. Last season’s Player of the Year in the division, didn’t disgrace himself in his only PL season, last year of contract. In fact, I’d be surprised if we didn’t discuss the notion of signing someone like that.
