Just reading through Vital Coventry and they listed 4 things which would give them trust in Orange Ken. Would you have any faith in him if he did any of the following:

1.Do everything they can to keep Lukas Jutkiewicz at the club when the January transfer window starts, although accepting that every player has his price.

2.Conclude contract extensions with Sammy Clingan and Martin Cranie. This would send a clear signal to the fans that the board mean business.

3.On the loan front bring in a quality player of the calibre of say Alan Smith (if fit) as again this would be a statement of positive intent.

4. 50% ownership stake in the Ricoh before next season starts.

Personally there's nothing he can do to make me 'trust' him. He's left our club to rot for 4 years and the only thing he should do is sell us to someone who is willing to part with some cash to get in some good championship quality players so we can compete in the league

Not for me, I think a lot of the SISU hate is fuelled by having fools like Ken in charge.

why would that make you trust him ?

1) Juke - they will do everything they feel they can to keep him but clearly there is a budget so might not be able to. It isnt about trusting KD
2)Clingan & Crainie - The club will offer what they think they can afford - its up to the players to decide if offer good enough or can get better deal elsewhere. It isnt down to trusting KD
3) Loan - again boils down to what club affords to pay not a matter of trust
4) 50% ownership of the stadium isnt up for sale - 50% of ACL is ...... Have we got the money ? can council veto ? no and yes so not a matter of trusting KD

Think these are very naiive criteria, and at least one is extremely unlikely to happen. Only way he gets more trust is by being open, transparent and doing what he says promptly.............. not holding my breath on any of that

To be honest i don't think i've ever really trusted a chairman of ccfc, i don't see any reason to start in the above.

listen ken,
you have singularly managed to f **k up every single attempt at club organisation / management / fan communication / football logic, etc.,
so much so that you are despised by 99.9%,
try a 'web poll' if you like,
DON'T EVEN TRY THE % cost REDUCTION ROUTINE,
hog pooh !
i know you wish to cling on to what you have, to get some monies back, but, frankly old bean, you are despised by the huge majority,
& don't be surprised if no-one in business ever believes, or trusts in you again,
we CCFC fans actually HATE the way you have treated OUR club, not your club, BY THE WAY,
just go away & multiply, you stain,
enough is more than enough,

If bringing in Alan Smith would increase trust then our fans are also deluded.

As usual, OSB, you have hit the nail on the head. I can't think of anything that KD is likely to do that would make me trust him. I think that openness, transparency, straight talking, straight dealing and basic honesty are all alien to his nature.

We already got through a transfer window and kept Juke, Clingan and Cranie may well be holding out for unrealistic wages, we need more than one loan player, I would prefer they get the right type of player and not one who is a name but might not neccessarily help our cause. Stadium ownership, not sure whather I want SISU owning the stadium.
