We continue our quest to find CCFC's worst ever line-up this week. We chose Raffaele Nuzzo as the worst keeper, with Chris Dunn on the bench. Now it's time to find our 2 worst full backs. So let us know who is your pick for the Left Back and Right Back positions, and why. The unlucky twosome will be chosen tomorrow on Sports Lounge, 10am on 98.6 Hillz FM, www.hillzfm.co.uk and the Tune In Radio App

Too big a choice. Loads of examples of unfortunates being played at full back despite it not being their best position (Barry Quinn) but you ought to go for specialist full backs.

Hard to overlook Paul Edwards who we brought back from a shopping trip to Crewe when we could have had David Platt.

Regis Genaux was a serious disappointment at right back. And you can't libel the dead.

Dave jones has got to be up there
one of our dearest signings at the time, and only played a handful of games with a couple of ogs if i remember correctly

Steve Morgan or Greg Downs for left back

Andy Whing and Jordan Clarke were fairly awful but we may have had worse.

Jordan Clarke right back all day long for me. Left back is somewhat trickier.. I'll get back to you.

I'm going to throw in Steve Staunton for left back. He was an absolute sloth.

Edit: Gary Borrowdale!

Double Edit: Stephen O'Halloran

I go with David Jones as the right back. Big money signing who scored a spectacular own goal (stoke?) what a big let down. Hormanchuk was another disaster.

Left back is easy for those who watched him. Andy Spring - carried on his form at Bristol Rovers as well;

http://www.theguardian.com/football/1999/may/20/newsstory.sport

He ended up getting knicked for pinching a VCR from a school and then apparently did win the Irish lottery.

Impey wasn't that bad...more of a wing back...decent player that we got a few years too late...legs were gone.

Not literally Otis..

Genaux played so few games I don't really remember how good or bad he was.

Adam Virgo in more recent times, though he was a jack of all trades.

Historically City have done ok with right backs, not as well with left.

Stuart Giddings wasn't good as a left back either but perhaps the worst Herman Hriedarsson

How does that work? Dunn to come on if Nuzzo makes too many saves?

Didn't we make a profit on Borrowdale?

Wilf Smith must be in the frame........... the only positive element of watching him play was if he ever had a shot AND hit the top tier of the West End stand.

Chris Hussey and Stephen Wright. Trying my best to think of anyone from the Prem days or since that have been worse and I'm struggling.

Somehow he got valued at £450,000 rising to £650,000 by a tribunal. That decision must have been made after a very long liquid lunch.

You aren't trying very hard;

Paul Edwards
Martin Lane
Steve Morgan
Ally Pickering

This whole threads a joke actually. I can almost 100% guarantee the goalkeeper selected has never been seen by anyone voting as he I think played one midweek game away at Tranmere.

We signed him from forest where he played as a full back. He became a midfielder in Scotland when he left us.

Its a forum with different threads which you can dip in and out of.

I don't like Downtown abbey, but haven't written to point of view to moan about it, just move on and be grateful we have a place where people are talking CCFC
