Quite easy this one, hands down winner.
1) Sam Ricketts. I had hi hopes after his early games, but tailed off badly after 10 games and gone one way since. Sold as a leader but we didn't get that when we needed it the most. A big disappointment.
2) Steven Hunt. TM said he could pick a pass the kids could not even see, problem was no one seen it to. ccfc career did not start.
3) Peter Ramage. Was never here for the long term and only brought in at our crisis point, did not suit our passing game and looked really exposed. Out of his depth at ccfc.

I'd say Ramage.

I'd probably say Fortune of players who have played somewhat regularly. Ramage and Hunt were crap but they've hardly played.

Ricketts, Hunt, Ramage, Fortune, Lorentzson, Henderson. All offered nothing imo

Which games have people watched Lorentzon play? Certainly not close to the worst player we have had.

Agree not even the worst right back this season.

Guess if he was kamikaze in defence like Phillips everyone would love him, give me strength!

I wish lorentzson had played more. Looked Like the attacking style fullback option we need

He's only played in 7 and I think 5 were home games 2 away and one of them were on tv.
Looked steady, not the worst by a long shot. Not sure he's done enough to get a new contract ahead of Phillips at 31

Think you have nailed it, based on the minutes on the pitch, all 3 could win, but Ricketts has somehow played (not sure we can call it that) all season. He should do the honourable thing and retire, IMO one of the reasons things have gone so wrong. Never a captain, certainly not a leader.

Yeah let's have a full back that can't defend

Personally think he is a better defender than Phillips or Ricketts...and a much better attacking full back than either. Last two home games we pushed Ricketts and Phillips forward for most of the game and I think including lorentzen would be more productive.

Lorentzson? Laughable suggestion. Strikes me as personal dislike for players, as with RCC, that people would pick him as the WORST player over the season.

Ramage, Hunt, Ricketts, Henderson and even Bigi in my eyes.

Ramage, Hunt and Henderson jointly have been an expensive mistake this season, and if budgets are a topic then these 3 have been the worst players at the club, all have offered nothing but taken a bit.

Not a personal dislike, I have to reason to dislike him. But he can't defend and he can't go forward, isn't that what he was meant to be amazing at? He runs 5 yards forward, then turns around and passes it back. I can't remember him ever beating his man. Not the worst player, I can name 5 players ahead of him who could win that award but certainly wouldn't be offering him a new contract

I wouldn't include ramage. He was a desperation acquisition but clearly not up to it once he got here. As for hunt and Henderson...no idea at the time or now why TM wasted his time and money.

Ramage, Hunt and Henderson the obvious ones.

Henderson deserves it for that trip against Peterborough alone.

Is TM any better at spotting a player than Pressley was?...we seem to have our fair share of useless feckin lumps

The answer to that we will see come Xmas. My early prediction is yes. I feel he will get the correct balance this summer

This really difficult as yes the ones above have good cases but the season has been full of Jeckyll and Hyde performances !

Ricketts over the course of the season has gone backwards.

Bigi has been disappointing

Ramage was a stop gap / desperation signing and didn't play enough to be too critical although when he did he was pretty poor

Reda for me could potentially make this list. Yes, unlucky with injury but if it were down to me he wouldn't have been re-signed last summer because it was always looking unlikely you'd get enough out of him

By a mile, it has to be Ricketts.

Surely a runner for our worst ever captain?

Ricketts has been utter garbage for majority of the season but have this inkling due to his versatility Mowbray will offer him a new 1 year deal.

Worst ever captain? It's close but Tim Sherwood and Stephen Wright were just as bad off the top of my head maybe others haha

I define that to mean the player who had the most negative effect on the entire team. Has to be Reda Johnson. Never should have been re-signed.

Could say he's made more of a positive impact to the team than Sam Ricketts has all season.
Both of there seasons ended at the same time!

Based on minutes, Jacob Murphy. Lazy, slow, scared to tackle, can't defend or take players on and not a team player. Hate him and deffo do not rate him 2nd highest scorer or not.

But without his goals and assists we would have been relegated by now.
