Got to be the worst we've ever had in 20 years at this stadium?

Burnley knew every trick in the book and he bought every single one.

Waiting for Pete to come on saying it's because a kid called his son a name on a Sunday.

It was obvious earlier on the ref was terrible. Through the game it just got more and more blatant.

It's ok though, what happens when they do that? Back in next week ruining a game.

Same against Sheffield United with Campbell.

At points it was mind blowing.
Their player got up and ran at mve to block him, no intention of being near the ball. He wins a free kick.

Can't blame him for the goals but let's face it. Cunts like that ruin the game, surprised he didn't go get a drink when they decided they wanted a break.

Will never know. He wasn't to blame for the 2 goals but he's allowing them to decide they want drink breaks and when they have free kicks.

He took a lot of pressure off them when they were under.

It's no wonder they don't concede when refs stop the game whenever they decide they want it stopping.

Clear corner, everybody sees it, lino flags it. Nah. Let's give a goal kick for no reason at all and take the pressure off.

He wasn’t even that bad, everyone just wound themselves up about him.

Multiple times in the first half he made the correct decision and got berated.

He gave a few dodgy ones in the second half but everyone had decided he was shit by then anyway.

Usually stick up for referees but this one was truly appalling. Absolutely zero control. Brilliant that Lampard gave him both barrels at the end.

Depends how you look at it, all the time wasting they got away with, some of the decisions he makes whenever they asked for a foul, these are sometimes the difference between a team getting something or not

Every time they wanted to waste time one of their players started talking to him to distract him from what was happening.

Foster took ages to walk off but he was having a chat with their player and not looking at what was happening.

Exactly. He had his back to the keeper every time while he stood there. Same when they made subs.

Don't usually say much about the referee as it is often used as an excuse for a team who haven't done their job on the pitch, but he was managing that game today in a way that seemed borderline corrupt. In the second half Burnley decided how they wanted the game refereed and basically did it themselves. He let them get away with murder.

I looked at the clock around the 60 minute mark, I looked back again and it was on 80. In those twenty minutes the ball was barely in play for more than 30 seconds at a time due to their antics, which included a time-out drinks break.

I know I am fuming about the game, but I personally hope he gets investigated.

Fuck all will happen.

People will just cry because refs get called cunts in grass roots.

Lampard will be punished for telling him about himself. Fuck all will happen to the ref.

Referee was dreadful and we were denied a stone wall penalty in the second half when one of the Burnley defenders nearly ripped Mason Clarke's shirt off of his back.

Yeah he ran to the ref to make sure he could take ten minutes to take the goal kick

Was right in front of me. Mason Clarke was dragged down by his shirt.
