Not too bad with the teams we're playing. That flight will be a bastard to Manus though.

Very hard group.

Platini can piss off, changing the rules so France only had a 1/9 chance of getting a tough group, rather than going in to pot 2 as the should have done.

Decent draw, who would you rather play, Honduras or Italy, the bigger games add to the excitement.

lets face it, expectation is low for once so we might surprise people! Does anyone know what times the games are on?

I am sure they said on BBC that the Italy game is at 2 a.m our time. Up for work the next day will be a challenge...

2 A.M.?? Fook me! That's a good idea! It won't be so hot playing at that time!

Games are 2am, 8pm and 5pm all BST. First game is the only one in hot humid conditions.

Why should they have done? The pots were geographical, they had nothing to do with the strengths of the teams.

All the pundits were saying we were fearing getting this group due to travel distance and humidity/climate. So if we crash out big style, dare say that will be the excuse given.

I really like the group. Last time out we had this simple group we'd walk and it was turgid shit, now it's right in with talented teams, two of which have both historical and recent form in the competition. Much more anticipation than squeaking through with an 'easy draw'.

It was like in 2010. We got battered by Germany, but that second round draw was easily the most mouth-watering. Better to lose against the best than fart along in delusion.

The rules were changed so that one of the Euro teams would get drawn into pot 2, which would result in that team getting a tough group. The chances of this happening were of course 1/9 for all the euro teams.

What should have happened, and what happened the last time this situation occurred back in 2006, is that the lowest ranking Euro team automatically gets put in pot 2.

But of course, who was the lowest ranking Euro team this time round? Yes that's right, France.

So the rules were changed.

FIFA is so bent it's unreal!

Doubts still remain as to whether the six grounds under construction will be ready in time!
Still we could always offer the Ricoh as an alternative venue as the pitch would be in perfect condition>

I remember when Archie Thompson put away 17 in a 31-0 mauling of Samoa. And was dropped from the next game. For been off form.
Watch out Spain!!!!
