The issue is upgrading stadiums to category A which mean UEFA can milk corporate cash. Most stadiums are owned by municipalities and take an age to upgrade.
I think it’s a stern “get your arse in gear”.
why it’s being split between two non neighbouring countries in the first place is beyond me though.
With the exception of Juventus, the Italian stadiums that I have been too (as Iconic as some of them are) are pretty dilapidated and would need major work doing before they are due to co-host the Euros in 2032
