This is where FIFA and UEFA will go to war, this will interrupt most European leagues and will be very interesting to see how the premier league look after their own particularly the English players. We could even pull out completely!!!

At the rate the England team is going we'll have bugger all chance of qualifying by then, let alone deciding not to compete.

Fifa always knew it would have to me moved, fifa were bribed in the bidding process by qatar to get the world cup then it was always going to come out that it has to be moved. Total farce by the world governing body. This world cup will be shit.

Pick potato head, cauliflower face Rooney regardless of form until he's 45.

Confirmed today that it's being moved to Winter. They're saying Nov - Jan which could mean it's not even in the right year and the Euro qualifiers might have to start before the World Cup. What an absolute farce.

anyone would think they had a plan, and knew what they were doing

seems to me that all the football governing bodies (FIFA, UEFA, FA, FL ) are somewhat clueless and lacking in clear thought, adequate rules, and accountability

From the sounds of things Australia and US bid teams are seriously considering legal action against FIFA as one of the conditions of the bid is that it has to be held in the summer. Most of the European leagues have already spoken out against it and are saying it will mess up the football calendar for 4 years not 1. Wonder what would happen if a lot of countries refused to send teams?

There is previous form for moving a tournement, Mexico 86 was originally supposed to be in Columbia.

This is the joke that just keep on giving....absolutely farcical ever since it was announced...

...So if its now going to be in Winter 2022, that's the African Nations cup already scheduled for Jan. 2023 fucked ain't it....

...shame as one of FIFAs key objectives (besides lining their own pockets) was to promote African football.....
