I sent this letter to Greg Dyke on April 11, still waiting for a reply....

"Mr Dyke, as a passionate supporter of Coventry City for around 55 years it is baffling in the extreme to watch the lack of football authorities intervention in the sorry saga around my club.
As you will know, I hope, that the club owners Sisu have taken my team to play their ‘home’ games in Northampton. 35 miles away. They did this in the face of fierce opposition from fans. We protested, it fell on deaf ears.
Sisu took the club away having not paid the rent at our Coventry home at the Ricoh for a year. The Council here offered radical rent reductions, even free rent for a season. Sisu ignored all this.
It seems they bullied the Football League with the ultimatum – sanction our stay in Northampton or we will wind up the club. The League went along with this. Us fans couldn’t believe what we were witnessing.
The League did stipulate, we are led to believe, that Sisu show plans for a new ground. One year later there is not a shred of evidence that Sisu have made one inch of progress in this. Freedom of information searches by proactive Coventry fans have revealed that no approaches to local authorities surrounding Coventry have been made by Sisu – relating to possible building of a new ground. Not one.
Us Coventry City fans are well aware that Sisu, a hedge fund, are intent on trying to secure the Ricoh Arena at a knock down price by distressing the ACL company that currently runs it.
They have absolutely no interest in football matters.
How on earth the Football League, the Football Association have not intervened here, we in Coventry just cannot understand.
The owner of Hull City wants to change their club name and you intervene. Coventry City FC are moved to another town for purely financial reasons and nothing is done.
What is going on?"

Amen brother.

All through this long sorry saga, my hatred for the FL has been greater than that of SISU, ACL, CCC, Richardson and Craig Bellamy (maybe not the Bellamy part). I'm truly and utterly disgusted by the way they have/haven't handle the whole episode and I couldn't have written your letter any better.

Do keep us informed of any response.

Good work mate,

WM

Got my reply from the Football Association today, I had written to Greg Dyke personally. You'll find what I said earlier in this thread...
Here's the reply....

Dear Mr...
Thank You for your letter.
The FA appreciates that this is a difficult time for the fans of Coventry City. The matters raised relate to the application of Football League Regulations. In the first instance The Football League should be given an opportunity to respond.
At the moment please can we suggest that you take your questions to the Football League via enquiries@football-league.co.uk. I am sorry we cannot be of more help at this stage.
Thank you again for getting in touch.

Yours sincerely,

Tracey Bates

I'll be back onto them to explain I've already been in touch with the FL.
(As have quite a few of you on here over the past year).
So, that's me fobbed off. It would seem.
And I've just watched that lovely Football League advert again on tv tonight.
The ineptitude of our football authorities is quite staggering.

The FL are not inept, they have asked and are pleased with the progress of the new stadium

If the reason was that our players were registered with the wrong arm of the company and shifted accordingly during a period of our history that exposes ineptitude on the part of the FL and matters of third party ownership ,maybe they could have been more honest about It during the Admin process .

I think Greg Clarke cited fear of legal action, that of course supports the Fisher stance on shifting assets around Prior to an Admin event . However the historical data used to come to that conclusion existed in the Premier league era of our club under the auspices of the FA .I think they have played a part and are answerable as much if not more than the FL.
