After being away for the weekend I have caught up on the match highlights and I feel a bit sorry for Wood with the decision to give a penalty. Yes, there was contact but it was totally manufactured by Healy.

As the ball went up in the air, Healy stops, takes a look at Wood coming forward to the high ball and he purposely steps into Wood and makes sure he goes down as if he's been clattered. Wood is going forward with his eyes on the ball and his one intention is to get off the ground to win the header. Healy knows he isn't gonna win it so forces the contact to take place as it does to con a foul out of the ref. I suppose watching it in real time it looks like a clear cut foul but I think it is more due to clever play by Healy.

Thanks guys. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks that. Healy is a cheating ****!

It was a clear penalty.

Not intentional, but really clumsy by Wood. I think we'd have won the game without them having a PK to get back in it.

Good work by Healy plus naive play by Wood equals a penalty.
No argmuents from me in regards to the decision.

Yep. Unfortunate maybe, but a definite pen.

And Thorn his job, perhaps in 6 months time we'll be applauding Wood, Healey and the ref..

Just seen it again, do not think it was a pen at all. Healy backs into Wood and goes straight down.

Plus woods eyes are on the ball the whole time...his body langauge is that of a person getting ready to jump for the ball...not someone who is going to commit a blatant foul on a player right in front of the ref.

And he definately looked back at the charging Wood and then backed into him. It was a blatant attempt to get a foul and he managed it...

It was one of the most blatant penalties ive ever seen a ridiculous challenge that didnt need to be made and cost us 3 points because we crumbled after that

Cant believe that even through the most sky blue tinted glasses anybody can claim that it wasnt a nailed on pen. Come on people.
