The commentary on the England games makes them a hard watch.

It's all very screechy, isn't it? I don't wish to be unkind but Vicki Sparks (I think on 5Live today) has a voice that sets my teeth on edge!

I find the inability to say England haven't done something well or made an bad decision really off putting.

This is the issue for me.

Will there ever be a time when the England team/manager gets an absolute panning in the media for a poor performance/result, as the men's team does.

That would be a positive sign the game has developed in line with the men's..... but i don't see it ever reaching that position.

England? With a couple of unconvincing wins in the World Cup group stage?

a win will do put that was against an okish team with one world class player (who would be England's best player) but Imay upset some when I say this but the management needs to be better.

Waiting to long to change anything
Weird team selections
Weird subs

needs to be better against better opposition

I hope that China beat Haiti later today so that England will have to at least draw the last match against them, or Wiegman will rest loads of the first choice team and it will be even more unbearable than today!

We have really been missing Mead and Williamson. Kirby too. But now, with Walsh most possibly out of the tournament too, I just don't think we are good enough.

Bronze and James are looking good, but that's about it so far.

Be interesting for Bronze next year as Barca now have a younger and better right back

Kind of watching in the background whilst working but it was pretty laboured. England seemed to run out of ideas.

She is definitely on the wane now. Think age and injuries have taken their toll. Still an excellent player mind.

We really need a left back, we can't play our best striker there again

Yup and Carter for me, is like a carthorse. She scares me when she plays at left back. Thankfully, it's not too often.

We definitely need to find a solution, because Daly worries me there too anyway.

If they get knocked out in the next round they’ll still probably have a tour of every major city in England.
Just glad it’s in Australia and I’m at work and not on in the evening!!

Is that Russo in more of a 10 role behind Daly?

I can't work it out, there's a few possibilities. 4231 makes most sense to me but I guess we'll see

Really nice that goal. Bright stepping out, the pass from James, touch and finish from Hemp

I know she has just scored but I'd still swap Hemp and Daly's positions.

Le Tissier would have been a better option at RCB but for some reason she didn't make the squad.

Lauren James is very good, shame it's disallowed.

I find she still holds the ball for too long sometimes and can run down blind alley's a lot

Good player though

Viet Nam are clearly not a footballing superpower, but Netherlands beat them 7-0. Irrespective of the quality of the opposition, their player Brugts scored two sensational curlers from beyond the angle of the penalty area. They look good

Why is there so much screaming from the crowd? Feels like I'm playing Roller Coaster Tycoon.

Lauren James has been sensational today.

And Millie Bright - I'd take her over some of the dross CBs we've had over the years - she's a beast!
