Ok guys, you can stop pretending the schoolboy international on speed crowd is great

It is a bit like they're trying too hard when they keep on saying how fantastic the crowd is. Say it enough times and it becomes true.

Get over it guys. Perhaps on other side of coin you are trying too hard to be negative?

Take the positives. Lots of kids and girls especially seeing this live in person. No booking of knee either etc

It's not negative to simply point out the crowd are not as good as they have tried to point out umpteen times

I think it's all relative and in the context of the women's game in this country it is amazing. Most of them will never have played in front of 70,000, think the record FA Cup final this year was just under 50,000.

If you look at it through the lense of the men's game then yeah, Old Trafford is a sell out every game and has a completely different (and to us better) atmosphere. I struggle with it a bit when I go because of the high-pitched kids and constant horns. No harm in them bigging it up for me

Why does the pitch side sign say Trafford instead of old Trafford?
Anyone have an idea?

It's good that 70k came, it's simply not negative to point out the truth

That Hemp (who I know is a good player) has been very wasteful with the ball tonight.

Or to recognise it's different as it involves largely the other half of our species.

Exactly . Comparing it to men's game with a different demographic of fans attending makes no sense.

It's not Boca Vs river plate. It's it's own thing and a good atmosphere in its own right

Yep and Toone through the middle, 2 United players I'm sure would have loved to score

Both should probably start next game. Toone for Kirby who hasn't really looked at it for a while and Russo is probably a better all round player than White

It has - the make up (pun intended) of the crowd will be hugely different to a men's match.

Yeah I haven't watched for a while but I've seen them reach heights far better than this under previous manager's while eventually falling at the final hurdle.
So don't know how typical that performance was .

Group games are just about adjusting to the tournament and getting into the knockouts. 3 points here is a great start.

Yeah, they've looked better in the warm up games. Need to be better if they play France, Germany etc but they can and likely will

Any more gates you want to keep regarding football supporters?

Last couple of days it’s been Americans and womens games.

Is the only true atmosphere you and your mate big Chris in the west terrace circa 92?
