Question is, who loses out to bring him back in? Almost seems unfair to drop anyone to make way for him really.

Hes one of our best players without doubt, but he hadn't exactly started the season brilliantly.

I dont think he comes straight back in tbh which is mental to say, the current squad have been unreal

After a month out he'll time to get up to full fitness so unless we lose Torp/Eccles again there's no rush for him to be starting.

I think he should have used the time to get his shoulder sorted. A few times this season and towards the end of last he has gone down holding it, can’t be comfortable running with all that support on.

He comes back in. As for 'who for?' we haven't been playing the exact same team every game during this winning run anyway have we?

If it needs an op I believe you're looking at 3 months out.
Think it will be an end of season into close season job

To be able to bring Rudoni on as a super sub after 70 minutes is insane!

A relatively small squad & we lose Rudoni for longer than anyone predicted, Eccles out with his glutes & then Torp ……how have we been so successful, without our main midfield players…. ?
Lampard knows how to get the best out of this squad & we can only be in dreamland, when they are all back .

Get promotion sealed in March and then he can get his op out of the way and be ready to start in the Prem.

Comes in for Ephron put BTA on the left, EMC just hasnt found form yet this season so take him out of the firing line for a bit whilst the others are doing the job and when someone loses form or gets injured give him a chance to come back in

Yes, exactly. It is likely that the team will continue to change from week to week as the season progresses and suspensions, injuries, tiredness and tactical considerations come into play. Rudoni coming back won't be a simple case of displacing one particular player.

We don't control games as well without him and we're playing in a way that leaves us more open. Don't think we'll keep our streak going too long playing like we did vs. Watford and to an extent vs. Portsmouth. I'd want him starting games as soon as he's fit enough.

If the team is playing well and winning then ease him back in with sub appearances.

Assuming we get no further injuries and everybody carries on playing to the standard they are, as it stands Rudoni would replace EMC.

He scored in 1 game out of 6, against the worst defensive team ever seen at the stadium.

Im not saying he isnt an excellent player, just showing how stats can be used to show anything you want.

Without Rudoni…

We’ve actually bypassed the centre midfield a bit.

That’d not a negative criticism.

We’ve been playing long balls / over the top from a deep lying Grimes or from Rushworth. We’ve also been concentrating on attacking down the flanks.

Long throws, long kicks or wide runs from passes down the flanks. Playing up to target men and runners. BTA playing high and the ball being played direct to the area.

It sensible strategy. Playing through the centre mid with Allen means we often get outmuscled and can’t keep control of the centre circle. Think back as to how we’ve struggled (comparatively) in that zone.

Good management is to play to your strengths when weak in an area.

Who is putting him down?

People are just pointing out how good our results have been without him, you do understand that its not people saying he's shit dont you?

He will get back into the team soon, but Frank is unlikely to throw him straight back into the starting line up.

People have said he hasn't played well this season

Also we got good results with him too. Were unbeaten FFS

As other posters have mentioned we bypass midfield more without him so I expect him back in sooner rather than later. Won't be more than 1-2 games without him starting once fit I don't think

Wow, six wins on the bounce, the leagues top scorers, and the record for consecutive clean sheets smashed. All from a team that lacks midfield balance???

Do we drop the leagues top scorer (BTA) or the leagues 8th top score (Torp) or Grimes (our best midfielder) to throw Rudoni back in?

We could have conceded 5 saturday , weve done brilliantly , but i think rudoni shores up the midfield a bit , allows grimes to play his game properly rather than have allen sit in his space all the time , and id play BTA right

You always try and play your best players

Torp didn't play the last game anyway and the midfield has been different for many games in this run. Eccles started against both Birmingham and Millwall. You have an overly simplistic view on 'dropping' players.
Rudoni is arguably our best player, he's been brilliant for a prolonged period of time and the manager will want him back in when fully fit.

We are top.of the League and scoring for fun, we shouldn't change a winning formula when its working so we'll.

I rate Rudoni as one of the very best players in the Championship, but I would put him on the bench and give him 20 mins here and there while this run continues.
For me he starts when someone gets a knock or needs resting.

Had he of been available he would of started instead of Allen in the last couple of games imo, so I dont think it will be long before he gets a chance to start.
