Help needed!!!

The missus laptop has got the Blackscreen of death after startup, all you can see is the mouse. I've tried to reboot, it's says something about rpreparing automatic repair then just goes in to be Blackscreen.

I have tried to press F8 and Shift+F8 to get into safe mode to no avail.

Any ideas?

It's an Asus x550

Thank you!

Yeah, I tried those. The safe mode menu doesn't even come up. The laptops still on under warrantee so I don't really want to start taking the RAM out. It's v frustrating....

If it's still under warranty Stu, take it back. (Problem is, all your hidden porn will be found! )
