It was spot on. 2 wagons blocked the exit just after the old club site. Safer.

Arena open for nearly 20 years with no road closures at all and no issues. They close a load of roads this season and still not enough for some people. Talk about 1st world problems. The main safety issue was crossing a444, that's not an issue any longer. WHL isn't that busy at all. Just walk on the path and stop moaning.

Cars coming out of burbages lane turning left or right was an issue. Cars driving head on towards pedestrians is frowned upon.

They can't turn left now, but in 18 years I never encountered an issue or witnessed one. I don't see an issue turning right and using the left hand lane at all, that leaves a wide pathyway, with a cycle lane and half the road for people who walk up, which is more than needed anyway. Doesn't effect me, walk to games, but the complete closure of WHL makes no sense, there is only a few cars from the car park that need to get away, it's all overkill and trying to fix a problem that didn't exist.

How are you, legally, turning right out of Burbages and ending up in the left hand lane on Winding House? It’s a no right turn junction.
