I would still like that against figure to be less (and the for, more)! But I will definitely take that!

Bear in mind that cov have played the likes of Arlesey morecambe and the stat doesn't look so impressive. Also factor in Cov didn't score tonight and they have only one once in the league when McGoldrick hasn't scored!

Results have been skewed by McGoldricks form. Without him, it would be 3 league wins in his time here - hardly inspiring!

Didn't McG come in as soon as Shaw took over? And played in the 5 straight defeats?

You're a fucking idiot.

I watched DMC against Tranmere where we spanked them and lost two nil. He was definitely playing then and looked a class above.

You're one of the many, but in other ways entirely out on your own in being a fucking idiot.

Last night was a draw. I prefer to look at the last 16 games as well. 9 wins 4 draws 3 defeats.

Anybody not happy with that is an idiot.

Alright last night was not a win technically speaking but somebody went through to the next round as winners of the match - er it wasn't Sheff United, they lost.

Plus you could remove a bit of statistical skew by excluding the 6-1 Arsenal result.

However way you look at it it is still mightily impressive - credit where it's due, MR is CCFC's Special One !!!

Ignore him, he's got an agenda against Robins. His McGoldrick argument is laughable.

Take 3 wins out then, 15 games with 7 wins, still a fairly impressive 46% win ratio.

Wouldn't it be better if his agenda was hidden?

Football competitions have rules and if matches are to be decided by penaly shoot outs then the end result is
that Coventry beat Sheffield United 4-1 in the penalty shoot out - I think the clue is in the word BEAT!!!
Lucky Goal!! so the Lucky Goals that are scored against us don't count either? If the centre back did not try and stop
the cross last night it would have gone to Mac and he would have scored anyway. You can say the centre back was
unlucky but with the ball being 6 foot away from the goal line and the centre back diving in with an outstretched
leg will 9 times out of 10 will go into the net.

Yes I looked at who we had beaten, and do you know what we still had to win the games and we did.

As for the 'without McGoldrick' debate, it doesnt really matter does it, as we were him and not without and he scored we won. How does anyone know that if we had someone in his place they wouldnt have scored as well.

I just dont get it, good win ratio and still its moan moan moan. What would make you happy?????

An own goal is a result of our attacking play, Maguire didn't go mental and start taking shots at his own goalkeeper.

Your whole 'without McGoldrick' logic is as deeply flawed as almost everything you say anyway, as if he wasn't playing we'd just go with 10 men and aim passes at the empty space he'd have stood.

If you take out 3 wins against lower opposition, for the 2 fa cup games and the away JPT game, but also have to be fair and take out the loss to Arsenal as well. It's 6 from 12. 50%

Take Suarez's goals away from Liverpool, where would they be? Messi from Barca? Ronaldo from Real? Ridiculous comment!! Every decent team has there talisman
