If you like tennis might be worth tuning to BBC2 now. Heather Watson has just won the second set against Serena Williams and is 2-0 up in the final set.

I say this at deuce 2-0 Watson but all the momentum with Watson! Surely she can see it through from here!

I've always quite fancied her.

She's a Brit and she's a woman, so that's a good start.

I imagine she will be mad as hell with herself

Was definitely there for the taking. Now she needs to build on it and not let it be a one off.

She played beautifully and should be proud but as a professional sportswoman she will know catching a player like Williams on an off day is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
In other news she is a lovely looking girl !

It was a monumental effort. The best women's tennis match I've seen for years.

Tut tut. I certainly found it a lot more interesting than women's football.

I don't normally watch the women's tennis for the actual game, ( ) but this was a great match!

Don't really watch women's tennis but what a game. Serena's power is bonkers.

Watsons first serve was abysmal she rarely didn't fault, seemed to put to much pressure on herself!

Hopefully she kicks on now like Murray after that defeat to Nalbandian all those years ago!

Too many errors from Watson, but you can see she does have what it takes to do much better. Could be down to mindset as much as anything else.
