Who starts next week ?

Seems to be 50/50 reading this forum which seems a little harsh on Wilson considering his form last season

I don’t know enough about Collins to think he is better or worse than Wilson but I can’t imagine he has joined to sit on the bench (assuming Moore is going to leave)

Thoughts……

The fact Wilson is missing last few friendlies means it will be Collins I think.

You have to assume it will be Collins now, and will probably stay that way unless/until he has a horrorshow.

I’m hoping that comment someone posted of what Wilson wrote on that Luton players post means he’s leaving. If we can get £3-4m for him I think that would be remarkable business

If Wilson’s fit, it should be him. Seems he isn’t, so there isn’t really a decision to make. Nice dilemma to have when he is fit though.

It will be Wilson, he’s just been missing because he had a touch of the colly wobbles.

In a vid of a friendly, spotted him well outside his box to the right of the centre circle, helping with build-up. After that, felt like he's nailed on if he doesn't do anything dumb before Leicester a la Moore last season. Brought in to help us progress and play a particular system.

Collins, the back injury to Wison means the decision is already made. If Collins starts the season well, it's going to be hard for Wilson to get the shirt back.
It's turned out to be a good idea bringing a third keeper in.

Would be quite smart of us to cash in now if we can get a decent fee off them.

Luton are a smart club I don’t think they would throw money at Wilson

Thought it’d naturally be Wilson tbh. We’re not getting big money for him so I think people should forget that.

Whoever Robins decides. If fit Wilson has the shirt I suspect.

As far as I can see the Wilson to Luton rumour was made up by someone on twitter as a joke.

Is there anything even remotely concrete out there linking him to Luton?

No. Luton have apparently just had a bid accepted for Alex Palmer at WBA

If fit, Wilson. The way Collins played today, I can imagine going back a few seasons where we overplayed at the back and looked very shaky. Collins' distribution today was awful (luckily the open goal was missed) and he spilled a shot which could have led to another.

Collins wasn't that even the best sweeper keepers like Ederson and Allison miss hit some passes.

also if you are getting at Collins for miss placing a pass have you watch Wilson kick the ball?

Not going to judge Collins yet, he hasn’t had anything like a usual and settled defence in front of him yet.

Played some very dangerous passing across the box too. A better opponent would have had our pants down

Hull City owner says only three Championship teams could afford Karl Darlow - The Leeds Press

Haven’t seen Collins yet under strong opposition pressure and in fairness to him behind a settled defence, Wilson has proved capable under both circumstances so if fit I think Wilson will get the nod from Robins.

Isn’t keeping the ball out of the net the most important attribute of a goalkeeper?

He has let in 1 penalty, a fluked cross and a goal from a rebound where he saved the iniital shot in his 3 games. Whats your point?

I imagine Collins will start and be number 1 - there were more than a few times last season when Robins was visibly pissed off with Wilson's distribution.
