Was a strong partnership until both individuals got their respective injuries, however Leon hasn't impressed me in the last two games and with respect to Callum Wilson I think he may of taken the chance that Leon squandered (the one on one with Fabianski).

I believe that we need to revert to two Strikers up top whether that be Leon and another, or else wise, I hope we sign the right replacement before the end of the window and Moussa reverts back to the left.

What makes you think Wilson would have scored it? Wilson has missed just as many chances (likely more) as Clarke this season.

A) Leon never looked composed when going one on one with the keeper.

B) Callum's pace would have left him with the option, coming inside, knocking it around the keeper and tapping it in with his pace.

He thinks it because big bad Leon has asked for a transfer. He is clearly now shit. Get rid of him. I pine for the days when we had quality strikers like Cody McDonald and Clive Platt.

I don't know about that.. We had 3 decent chances to memory:

1st) Leon burst through one on one, didn't look confident and spent to much time considering what he was going to do and by the time he had taken his effort it was an easy save.

2nd) Slightly harder when Leon hit the post another day it hits the other side of the post and goes in..

3rd) Cyrus went through but instead of trying to find the far corner he pulled it back for reasons beyond belief..

4-0 flattered them..

Obviously it isn't that because I gave reasons to support my argument G

McDonald scored again last night - he's bagged a few since leaving us, and considering how mediocre Gillingham are, he's got an impressive scoring rate, methinks?

I actually thought Moussa looked better up front than he does out left.

4 Chances!!

You are forgetting Baker's brilliant run and shot which was well saved by Fabianski.

McDonald was signed to keep us in the championship and cost more than Leon Clarke. He was unfit, lazy and shit.

Billy was unlucky, but I think at the time Leon went one on one it was a big chance had he of scored it would made Arsenal very nervous as we were shooting towards our fans and we had come out for the second half all geared up..

One CCFC player said to me recently it feels like they have a Twelfth Man away from home, especially when they are shooting towards us..

It does affect our team I think but I also think that not playing at the Ricoh does also affect the away team..

Not at all Leon Clarke has done well for us, 18 goals this season so far and 28 in 42 which is a good record I just believe he benefits from a second striker more than an attacking midfielder like Moussa.

Absolutely not Wingy 100% agree, I think the issues is egos on that subject but I think our Club would benefit on and off the field playing at the Ricoh.

Robo I like ya but ur talking shit on Wilson and clarke. Both v good players. U just hating cks of transfer request.

I'd rather keep Wilson tho so if we do sell Clarke I'm surr we can still finish season well with a replacement

I am not hating on Clarke because of the Transfer Request, I just think that he needs a second striker to play up top with him.. I do think he should of scored last night tho pal.

Arsenal missed another 4-5 good chances, probably 7-3 would have been a fair result.
