So what if CCFC had a player who had who had been injured towards the end of last season and then got over the injury in say November, would you say that he couldn't play for the rest of the season? If it is a professional footballer is good enough then it wouldn't take them that long to get upto speed because most of the frees keep themselves in good shape in case they get called upon and match sharpness is something that can come in a matter of games. I suppose you would rather a PL player say like Delfounseo (if that's how you spell it) who comes straight from another club and people think he will be great and turns out to be complete shit?

No that's not what I'm saying. They would already been contracted to the club, and would already have a fitness plan as par of their rehabilitation, with a lot of gym work whilst they build it back up to ball work, training ground work, reserve games, etc.

I don't think my view is a completely off the wall.

Look how long it's taken Jackson to get fit and proper match sharpness (2 goals in 15 games), he certainly isn't there yet. It also took Marlon King a few months to get fit (9 games without a goal, 2 in first 15 games compared to 9 in his last 14 games) and find some form. In the shit we're in now, we need people to come in and contribute immediately. And yes I though delfouneso would do a job, based on what my villa ST Holder cousin and uncle had said. He was disappointing but still managed to get a contract in the league above us.

tbf Blackpool were handing out contracts like confetti a week before the start of the season. It was like those open day recruitment drives companies do, just open invitation to turn up and get a contract on the same day.
We'd probably give Blackpool a good game with players like Delfouneso, Zoko and Peter Clarke, it's no surprise they only have 7 points in 17 games.

That's brilliant that we couldn't sign a Rotherham reserve on short term loan?? Crazy
