Didn't think much of it but after yesterdays incident do you think things could kick-off at Sixfields. There will be Bristol City fans and locals on the way to and from the ground and then Cov fans with opposing views around the outside of the stadium. I gather there is a fair few going to Northampton just to stand outside or go on the hill

Why would there need to be "aggro"? Is this all Northampton's fault?

I hope not as it just makes the fans look bad!

I think the event at the Ricoh will have put an end to the hill protest, which was going to be peaceful

Hope not, we have gathered a lot of support from many other clubs. One silly incident can take that all away

Nope but I'd expect similar 'trouble' at every away game

Depends on how many of us are there and the way the police are I would say it's defo has potential for trouble but I hope it's a good peaceful protest and we get noticed

Could be, maybe it should be played behind closed doors - or given the number of tickets sold, it will look like it's being played behind closed doors anyway.

Can't see City fans wanting to cause aggro, but some may wish to make a statement/gesture, call it what you will?
Think the Ricoh event may offer a diversion for some, though (probably me included)

Haven't heard a thing about travel being put on for those stupid enough to go.
Looks like Sisu have let fans down again.

Trouble is mostly aggro at football usually just happens, I know in some games rivals do plan and meet for a tare up but usually it happens on the spur of the moment and people just get involved. The problem is as seemed to happen yesterday a lot of fans are pissed off and on short fuses, not a good combination.

Think most of the people going Northampton, will be people who don't mind going there so maybe not

Any fans going will be Sisu lovers anyway and they won't be meeting the genuine stay away fans so no trouble

These fans won't bother about the cost of travel. They need to help Sisu the best they can.

Cant see the point of protesting outside sixfields on the hill. Just ignore the match and go to the Ricoh.

Does this mean at an away game fans have to hit themselves on the head?

I think so too. Hopefully all proper City fans will be at the Ricoh now though which will reduce the risk

No I would suggest that anyone who buys tickets for the Norhampton "home" games has already had a dangerous knock on the head so it would be pointless.

I think it will be a dark day for our club if people make trouble against those city fans attending the game. They made their choice and personally have no problem with that however there will be some total idiots who will think this will be a great idea. They are not fans of Coventry city FC

Can I make it very clear I was not suggesting it was a good idea, but in my opinion may well happen.

Are you serious. ...the fans who have stayed away for the last few seasons because of sisu were slaughtered on here for not going...now all of a sudden the stay away fans are the genuine ones.....there's nothing quite like us cov fans is there.

I know all the whys and wherefores about SISU, but surely the boys out there on the pitch playing in Sky Blue, following the 10 point deduction, need you lot behind them more than ever. I really do understand the apathy and hatred towards SISU but its the lads on the pitch who need you behind them. Remember those pulling on the City shirt next weekend wont know when their next pay cheque is coming their way, probably despise SISU as much as you, and need to know you support THEM.

A full house at the Ricoh, cheering on another set of players who have been proud to pull on the shirt in the past will do that.

I might get stick for going on Sunday but I am no sisu lover or acl, because they are both to blame for this mess, I am a Coventry City fan I will support my team home and away because that's who I support the team not sisu or acl and the players need or the support they can get now, especially now they are on -10 points

Think they are waiting to fill the 12 seater before deciding on any more transport.

Best thing to do is just stay away. Starve them out. For the few coming over and spending money in Northampton businesses I'd say think again. Anyone planning on doing something stupid like invading the pitch, it's a criminal offence and not just some impassioned gesture.

Your Ricoh event sounds a lot more positive. I'd ignore Northampton all together. What relevance has it to CCFC unless you let it.
