I know I have been slated before for personalising threads, however I feel that this is both necessary and justified.

Wiki cockhead stop putting false posts on Wiki about Coventry City signing players.

You are ruining what is one of many useful tools (unlike you) for finding out research about things.

You are an absolute c**k and a very sad individual.

My gut instinct tells me you are a member of this site and will be reading this right now.

To be fair if you use Wikipedia for accurate information you deserve to get upset, bit like expecting CovMad to have an accurate article.

I know you can't guarantee it as accurate. However, usually it is because a person is misinformed and it gets amended over time to the correct information. This however is just someone who is an intentional cock.
However a lot of what appears on there either appears on here first or very quickly afterwards :thinking about:

On another cheerier note, 13 goals for 0 against

It's not necessarily one person, Wikipedia articles pertaining to current news can be edited endlessly by any number of idiots. The more obscure an article is, the less it's moderated due to attention. You could add a lie to an old Cov player and see it unchallenged for months.

It has followed a pattern though AJS-'I know it's only Wiki but...' followed by a link to a bogus Wiki article. Can understand dongo's frustration.

Oh, as in someone reads a thread here and then goes and mucks up the Wiki page?

Within 2 minutes of the the Edge signing going on here, someone changed his Wiki page and stated that he had signed along with Jennings.

Could be coincidence

The signing wouldn't just have gone up here, it was emailed out to all season ticket holders and you've got Twitter and the like.

On I know, that's why I said it could be coincidence.

However in the last week. Bryan Howard signed for us. It was dated in the last few days. Then a post about it appeared on here.
James Beattie had gone to Scotland with us, which also rapidly appeared on here.

I think there was one another one, maybe Craig Beattie (the name escapes me)

Then this Jennings one.

It could be innocent someone happened to look them up on WIKI on the same day they fictionally sign for Cov on WIKI and then it finds its way on here through various means of communication. Who knows........

I did think that if I question it more I may walk into the prime suspect category. Or is that what I want you to think? [citation needed]

Haha I tend to agree. If its not official don't put it up! People have too much time on their hands. You get banned after doing it a few times anyway.

I read on Wiki that Wiki isn't too be totally trusted so I don't use Wiki anymore. Footballrumours.com is far more accurate!
