0-0 will do, a scrappy game with 10 broken legs and 4 red cards

draw for sure

we dont want gills pulling away or wigan catching up

if someone had to win i guess i want wigan as i am still hoping ccfc have it in them to do our bit and get a pts tally worthy of top 2. just hope there aint 2 teams out there who manage a better tally!

Think I would prefer a Gillingham win to be honest I still think Wigan are the most dangerous rivals and more than most have a run of results on them.

I see Bradley Dack is being linked to Brentford & Reading, easily Gills best player.

Is that the long haired midfielder? Looked a decent player when he finally started playing and not having a one on one with Vincelot.

Draw obviously the best result but I think if anyone we're to win I'd prefer it to be Gills, I can still see them not lasting the pace, especially if they lose Dack who I think is a really good player at this level.

I remember him from the Gills game - he looked pretty good. I hope he does move from Gills because that would do them a power of no good.

Is that maybe a tad too optimistic?

Both a danger to us, so a draw has to be the best result.

Draw ideally or a Wigan win. I want us to be in a position to go top next Saturday as that might add a thousand or more onto the gate.

I think as the season goes on Wigan will look more like league winners and I expect Gillingham to fade a bit. A draw or Gills win for me.

Yep. 0-0. Better to keep two clubs in reach (or just behind) rather than have one gaining points over us.

like ourselves Wigan have had a lot of injuries and suspensions and are just coming out of it. Where Gills Walsall & Burton seem to be heading into this area. I think Wigan have got it in them to sustain a challange. So 0-0 would do for me

Wigan play Sheffield United next Tuesday also. Could do with both these being draws. Then again I don't want to be reliant on other teams results.

Personally I don't fear Wigan as a competitor.
As novice managers I think Edinburgh is more likely to succeed than Caldwell.

I was thinking that and waiting for their bubble to burst-but fair play to then as they seem to be going the distance.

January is always a big time though, can expect the 3 above us to loose key players whereas we are strengthening and I imagine teams with more finances like Wigan, Sheff U etc will be too

I agree, We don't fear Wigan, they don't look like they are about to go on some amazing run, yes they will probably finish top 6.

Wigan win or draw would be good.

Our target surely to win this league from this position. So hoping Gillingham lose as I feel they are genuine top 2 candidates if they can keep dack.

The manager selection was odd. I thought he'd have been sacked by now. With a Mowbray type manager they would be up at the top if the league.

Is still think Wigan will win the league, hoping that now Blues have a few quid Rowett might raid Burton and hopefully Bradshaw leaves Walsall.

They certainly have plenty of resources.
Given ours and the three teams ahead of us they're being out performed by the other three. Given ours and our manager I expect to overcome all of them.

Bradley Dack just hit the post. There best player by a mile. Let's hope they sell him this January.
