We need to up our tempo, particularly when we approach their box.

Hamer and Palmer are playing poorly. O'Hare frustrating but did well for that last chance. Eccles unsurprisingly underwhelming at RWB. Again, why isn't Kane playing?

We need to be doing better. Wigan have drawn the battle lines and it will either end up 0-0 or they'll shithouse a win. I wonder if some tweaking of formation might be an idea to be honest.

Happy with that first half performance. Passing the ball well. Remain patient and goal will come in sure.

People getting on Palmers back again lmao. He is not even close to having a nightmare. That move by him and o hare shud have results in a goal but fact it happened is proof enough we need to see them on the pitch together even more.

Feels like we need a bit of a rethink at half time to break them down. Maybe Kane on for Eccles as they're giving so much space down the right. If we don't see more from Palmer in the next 10-15 bring Allen on.

Really poor half. Dominated possession but create just one chance. Wigan have had looked more likely to score than up until then.

Too slow in possession, too narrow and lacking movement in midfield. Palmer needs to come off for Allen.

It’s like we don’t practice breaking teams down. They’re going to be happy to sit men behind the ball and hope for a set piece.

Need to stop floating balls in as well, whack em hard and at least hope for a corner.

They are doing to us what we’ve done to teams. 3 centre backs playing narrow leaving space out wide knowing full well Eccles & Bidwell won’t do anything with it. Need Kane on ASAP

Not a great advert for championship football - pretty poor but we haven’t conceded

At home we seem to grind out results I suspect we will again

Palmer and o hare are identikit players in that they want ball to feet and palmer struggles to move much off it.

Defence sound enough but Eccles struggling

Yeah they can’t work magic but both look a little rusty. Just one of those days where stuff doesn’t come off for a tricky player.
