Wigan Athletic have been linked with a move for Coventry City keeper Keiren Westwood.
According to TalkSport, Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has turned attention to the City keeper as a replacement for Chris Kirkland who is noiw back at the DW Stadium after his loan at Leicester City was cut short due to injury.
The station claims that Westwood, who again had the City support at Barnsley yesterday demanding the City board sign him up, is seen as a long-term replacement and would be the number one keeper at Wigan, something which would interest Westwood, who knows that his chances of becoming the Republic Of Ireland number one keeper would be restricted if he was not playing regular football.
Wigan have no ambition and Westy wouldnt like it there.
He would get bored and leave and beside they are in the drop zone so they cant be that good.
If it is about the money for him then he is greedy and there is no other word for it, playing football should be about playing for a club you like and not about the money that they are paying you
