Awful for the club but means I’ll now see both games once they have been rearranged. Every cloud…….

This is a disgrace, Wasps are a disgrace and we need to be getting some form of compensation from them, they are not spouting stuff in the media saying they had told the club they would relay the pitch, absolute joke

I suspect Huddersfield will be reversed and we'll play them twice at their place. Another postponement is unthinkable.

Guess the independent agronomist didn't think it was up to standard either. So much for Wasps passive aggressive statement implying games were being called off for no reason despite the initial assessment being made by an independent official.
Yeah they confirmed it wouldn't be safe for the game.

Absolutely fuming. Record season ticket sales, a squad of potentially exciting talent, and we can't play at home because our pitch is absolutely buggered. What a total joke of a situation.

Points deduction incoming.
It would be incredibly harsh to get a points deduction, obviously its completely unacceptable but the club don't control the ground and if the landlords can't supply the most basic of requirements not sure its really on to punish the club with a points deduction. Now a nice big fine that's passed on to Wasps on the other hand.

Just saw this on SSN and laughed in disbelief. Were comng the laughing stock of this league, through no fault of our own.

Wasps would not pay the fine

Why don't they just reverse the fixture?

Not that simple I suspect, Wigan police would have to agree, Wigan FC would have to print match tickets and programmes for a fixture they didn't intend to host (plus setting up catering etc) and we would have to book hotel space for a fixture we thought would be played at home.
