There was never any realistic prospect of them not failing in the appeal

If no buyer is found by 31st August then the club won't be able to start the season, this is looking like another Bury or Bolton scenario, you have to feel for their supporters.

They shouldn’t have a problem - several people are showing interest and the club isn’t it seems as financially insolvent as the others

Turnover wise they're not dissimilar from CCFC, £6.9m the year they went up from L1 against £6.2m for CCFC at the Ricoh in 18/19

The ground is owned by a separate company in the group from the club. Between Wigan Athletic and Wigan Warriors they pay £800k p/a in rent. In the stadco's accounts there is turnover relating to catering, restaurant and bar facilities so not sure what the arrangement is. No obvious recharge.
