I'm going with a 2-1 win for us and around 12.5K attendance. Hope my optimism hasn't worn off by 5pm!

Do you know the bench?

Surprised at no Tudgay and the pint sized attack. We must be hoping they cannot cope with our movement.

Just getting to the ground, Wigan look to have a good following. Fans quite chatty too!

No, but he's more of a hold up/link player than JM/RL/AA.

With those three there is no focal point. Not necessarily a criticism, as it can work against a slow defensive unit, just an observation.

Surprised Armstrong is playing ahead of Tudguy. and not convinced about playing a centre back at right back. Good luck leading the line by yourself kid. A big ask of two 18 year olds to lead our attack.

There's random pictures of ex players dotted around the concourse.

This attack in theory is all about one touch triangles and the killer ball over the top or through a gap. Let's hope it works.

Anyone else wonder what Reda and Willis say to themselves when they stand just outside the box adjacent to one another and appear to do some sort of ritual? Is it just a prayer?

I see them as hatters are now sat on the side. Wonder which steward will force them to sit down? Would love to be that steward

Great atmosphere. No idea what the formation is, Armstrongs on the right wing, Job and the left and Maddison and Lameires kind of up front, kind of attacking midfield.

Ball out wide to Armstrong, Maddison and Lameires come short, Armstrong crosses only JOb in the box.

Evidence why your striker should be in the box, not the one out wide putting the crosses in

Are we genuinely playing 4-2-4?!

Armstrong wide right plays a one two and cuts inside, beats his man for pace so the defender chooses to take him out

Rubén takes the free kick, not really in a shooting location misses everyone and out for a free kick.

Not sure if a bad shot or a cross no one anticipated

That's what I thought too. Odd, but doesn't seem to be too unfamiliar to the players this far

Maddison trying to tackle and only succeeding with a striker tackle; not very good. Foul given

Armstrong with a great finish

Through ball in front of him from O'Brien who won possession just inside the Wigan half

Great goal
