I have a really old house but struggle to get a decent wifi signal in most rooms. I have brought a plug in wifi for the bedroom so I can stream movies from cartoon HD etc but just wondering whether anyone can recommend any decent signal boosts??

You can get powerlines that will extend the wifi signal, is that what you are using at the minute?

A few people who I work with have had similar issues and have started using those homeplug thingies that turn your mains into a network.

Something like this would do the job:

Plug one in with a cable to your router, into the power. Then one upstairs and it will extend wifi, also has ethernet ports so you can run a cable too!

I use a power line adaptor for my attic room, but I went for the Ethernet one to plug my Amazon box into. Its been briliant

I have them around the house, only the 200mb ones but still OK streaming HD stuff.
